Unfortunately, sometimes people get stuck in a predicament where they are far from home & what's comfortable. Make a poor decision, with that said all is fixed now and all is well. Lol very lucky they didn't mess with the oil pump adjustment bolt once they got the brass cover off. That could have easily turned into a engine job.
What was that owner thinking??? And what quick lube kind of place would even accept that car? For one thing, how would they get it in the bay? Those cars are so low I doubt it would have clearance.
Jeez... You forgot to tell people the most important step..... checking the oil level *with the engine running* (or immediately after the car has been turned off). If you wait, you have a big chance of overfilling the system and causing even more costly problems. Also it's worth mentioning that there are specific torque values for the plugs on the sump and tank and for the oil filter.
You are right on all counts, granted I did not intended on this to be an oil change diy. In all fairness I suppose I did turn it into a half ass one lol. There are already a handful of them available for viewing, hopefully my viewers turn to them for a step by step on the process. I do sincerely appreciate the criticism, my channel is new & I am learning as I go. Thank you for watching my video.
Holy moly. A 355 spider with manual transmission and they took it to a quick lube joint? Oh my.

Holy crap!!! These are the Ferrari's you have to worry about buying.
Job well done! A little brass can cost a pretty penny, even if it's not going on a Ferrari.
Thank you brother ! That is very true, but extra costly if it is going on a Ferrari lol
Great title! definitely caught my attention
Good work, nice to see a good thorough fix
Thank you, I very much appreciate the feed back.
