Absolute finicky-fish catcher. I’ve had a banner year catching Flounder using these. The “Drew’s Craw” color imitates a Brown Shrimp very well. Enjoys the videos and the classes, Captain C.A.🤙🏻
I thinks it’s all in the fact that the tail of any Z-Man bait floats giving it a visible, enticing profile. Great video, thanks for these. Miss you dropping by the shop since you moved. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
How do u not have EVERY single person who fishes subscribe? Excellent info, great, polished delivery. hoping to tune in tonight for Flats Class. from NE Fla. Gotta get over to the Bay area for a tarpon trip with my daughter [on her bucket list]. I just cant believe I JUST found this channel this weekend. Need some SEO bro. Good Luck!
Took me a while to realize the Neds strength is the secondary motion of the bait. When a fish looks at it and current causes it to move that's usually when it gets destroyed!
Good stuff, I've had a lot of luck with the TRD on flounder on the white lightning color. Mimics a small baitfish very well. We have a lot of Pinfish/Perch that destroy gulps and curly tail baits, but they can't put a dent in the Zman plastics.
Always used a diff scented bait but since watching you I tried the zman and I really like them The action is great. So I give you credit for the switch. This is basically the first year and I have had great success even in 58-59 degree water. Great baits
i love the zman products. a few weeks ago I was catching schoolie stripers in long Island NY. I was using diamond jigs that iremoved the tube off the hook and threaded hula sticks on the hook. worked awesome. I was struggling to catch until I put the zman on.
Me personally, I enjoy the look of a casting reel. I’m trying to put a Ned rig combo together with the shimano curado BFS. I was wondering your thoughts about using the SWC-67ML? I mainly only use spinning reels in moderate - high wind situations. Thanks for the advice Capt.!!
Ohio angler Heading to Hilton Head right now to chase winter reds. I brought my ned rig smallmouth rod with me 😎 10lb power pro and 12-14lb fluorocarbon leader. Have you had any success trying the TRD crawZ? I would assume it imitates shrimp and fiddler crabs
It's crazy how now days u have people trying to replace the spinning rig with BFS reels. Why are people so against a spinning rig? I have way more baitcasters than spinning but if I could only have one it would be a spinning rig.
Gulps new soft baits are too soft. I've been out countless times that the new penny gulps saved my trip. But I'm now using Zman new penny shrimp scented shrimp and their one of my go to's lol super tuff also.
I’m telling you, you the man when it comes to teaching fishing techniques and interestingly, no fee to go along with it....
R Villarreal thanks for supporting Flats Class we are just getting started
Yes he is. I have been a fan sense I ran into this channel and I have caught more fish with his tips.
Zman has knocked it out of the park with these baits. A day of ambushing schooling reds requires a lot of boat maneuvering, but it’s worth it.
Those spooky red fish are like the final test of finesse fishing, your tips and demonstrations are the best, much obliged for your service.

Curt Willocks thanks Curt, the buoyancy of the bait definitely makes it more appealing
Excellent rig all around salt and freshwater and catches almost all species

Saltwater similar results for me in colder water temps

Great video, this guy is proof of is not how much you know, the trick is how you teach.
I thought this was gonna be b.s advertising for Zman. Ah ha, modern day bucktail. What a great action. 👍
My girl thought CA was sitting in his fish tank

I know this vid is old but are u using the regular shroomz head? Hook seems a little thin for Reds.
Best videos out there
