How can you not see that this is staged?
As an amateur magician, and friend of Michael and three other guys who worked on the show, thats the skill we are all amazed by. Michael is so good at playing off what they say. I know several magicians who could do the magic part of the show, but nobody could do the interactions as well.
Oh this is a great show I watched almost all episodes. The way he speaks so smoothly and finds his way around is just another piece of Magic 😂@NotPeteMcCabe

I love how he thinks on his feet and give an 'explanation' of the tricks, making the people so gullible. The only thing i would say is not to tell the people it is a trick and let them walk away thinking what the hell happened.
These tricks are also like a miniature ethnographic study and portrait of human psychology: how we deal with shock, how we rationalize our disbelief, how we mask our emotions regarding ignorance and insecurity.

Her reaction was great, but if you scroll in you can see exactly how he did the trick when you see the very edge of the 50 dollar bill behind the check. You have to look very closely. Obviously an unsuspecting person wouldn't have caught that minor flaw if they weren't looking for it. Still a great trick and still love the reaction!
