LOL !! Well, hi everyone! This is Scott Durr, the guy who got played hard! Still can't believe that happened to me! How many times have I seen someone on tv in these types of situations....never did I think it would happen to me! I am the one used to playing the practical jokes! I do my own kind of magic with kids, hosting my own storytelling shows. Never, ever thought I would be on the receiving end!! lol Lots of fun!!!

Explains more the belief in evolution. People are more ready to believe amazing and complex stuff happened by random chance, than that a God simply created it.

h rex I'm not completely clueless, and I did not refer to any god. As you can see, I sais "a god" meaning "some god". There is no god specified. If you are insecure about your beliefs go read books. Arguments with random people will at best make you feel smarter than you actually are.
Let me be clear, I'm not arguing here for or against evolution. Belief in evolution (and the events that lead to it according to an atheistic worldview) is just a better comparison to this persons reactions than belief in a god.
And please don't give me that bs about evolution (if taken in its broadest sense) not being a belief but science, unless you're ready to send me your own research on the matter by email.
This guy is one of the most articulated and clear-spoken people I have ever heard. I like his clear accent , I appreciate that as an non English speaking student.

the victims are so caught up in the illusions that Michael
has to almost snap them out of their hallucination

I just watched a man get gaslit into thinking he was looking at some INCREDIBLE camouflage... You could see the look on his face, he KNEW it was just one big frog, but the whole “see look it doesn’t even look real” is what really got him, making him think he’s somehow missing some important detail that gives the “illusion” away. His eyes go from full disbelief to confusion, like Are we looking at the same frog? Am I the one who’s incorrect?

This is very good for psychology. If someone who seems to be in authority tells you something that goes against logic, as outrageous as it might be, people second guess themselves, and can be swayed from logic.

+RainbowMech Actor and film edits. No other way that I can see to achieve this. You have to remember, like other TV magicians, this is just entertainment and if people believe it then it serves it's purpose. Someone will sell out and do fake 'magic'.
They usually edit out the shots that allow him to make his sneaky switcheroo.

Seeing is believing and the presentation, execution and acting were done so well it would have taken a trained biologist or zoologist to not believe the "carbonaro" effect.

After watching one video where camera tricks are used in order to fool the viewer into thinking an actual magic trick was done, I don't feel convinced that these are real reactions. I can sense the acting and staged performances. If you love truTV then you should watch Impractical Jokers. Easily one of the best if not THE best shows that should never be cancelled.
