I'm very much enjoying your videos, thank you.
During the covid year I rebuilt my 1981 13' Whaler which turned out great I just wish I set up the electrical panel for easier to access. I replaced the woodwork and boosted up the console and rear bench seat about 6" by cannibalizing the front bench. Much better for my back! Btw the stainless steel prop I installed years ago has been enormously beneficial. I love that old boat - the first owner ran it on Biscayne Bay, I took it all over from Sanibel to the 10,000 islands, for the last 20 years I boated around the big bend from St. Marks to St. Joseph's Bay plus lakes and rivers in the area.
Now you are giving me new ideas! Thank you again.

Thanks, of the boats I own or operate, the Whaler might be my favorite right now. In a near future video, we're going to build cushions. The backrests for me were non-negotiable!

As a marine mechanic, overall good job on your wiring. Glad you figured out that the magneto needed to be grounded for the kill switch! One thing though, you are definitely going to want to put fuses for all of your switched electronics to protect againsed shorts and fires.. With a panel that small, you can take out the factory harness and put marine in-line fuse holders on the feed side of each switch, or use a blue sea systems 4 gang fuse block and wire your main to that and a fuse lead to the feed post on each switch. If you do that, you are all good to go and safe!
