The provincial park by Drumheller is Midland Provincial Park. Dinosaur Provincial Park is about a hour's drive away. Drumheller is famous because the world renowned Royal Tyrell Museum of Paleontology is located in the park. Hence the giant T-rex.
I am surprised you didn't choose the worlds largest tomahawk in Cutknife Saskatchewan. It is a bit off the path but is extremely impressive. I worked on building it, as a teenager.
Thank you bro 🙏. I appreciate you watching and subscribing! Hearing feedback like this keeps me going, and wanting to continue making content. I truly appreciate it ❤️
I used to live in Duncan, BC home of the Worlds Largest Hockey Stick. You can see it right on the side of Hwy 1 would probably have been my pick for BC. I also love the statues on highway 3 in the mountains east of Osoyoos though they aren't that big or touristy.
Hey excellent point! I wanted to include that, but some of followers mentioned it’s no longer there and has been removed, that’s why I decided against including it.
Videos like these always talk about the biggest and best of the provinces but leave out the three territories. If you want to see something awe inspiring and untouched go visit.
So as a pei resident, i would say largest pumpkins , and for bew brunswick ya gotta go with largest covered bridge. So legendary they made a potato chip brand called covered bridge
I've seen the big nickle. There's a couple moose sculptures in Newfoundland proper. Ontario has a giant apple that's a bakery for apple pies etc. But yea, there's lots of them across is awesome country!
Commenting before watching... I wonder if you will mention the UFO in Moonbeam, Ontario. EDIT - I totally understand going with the Big Nickel in the context of this video. Others I've come across on Google Maps are the 20-foot tall "Guy-Paul Treefall" near Iroquois Falls, or the "World's Biggest Snowman" near Beardmore, both on the epically long Highway 11. Actually, I would love to see a WHOLE video about the insanity of Highway 11, from Barrie to Rainy River.
I understand why you chose the dinosaur for Alberta, but I was rather sad that there was not at least honourable mentions for the World's Largest Pirogie On A Fork in Glendon AB. It stands 8.3 m [27 feet] tall, weighs 2,722 kg [6,000 lbs] ---- as well as the World's Largest Pysanka in Vegrevile AB, which is 9.5 m [31 feet] tall and 5.5 m [18 feet] wide and weighs 2,268 kg [5000 kg]. A Pysanka is a Ukrainian Easter Egg. Both these works of art represent Canada's Ukrainian heritage, and it's important in these dark days that we remind the world of Canada's solidarity with that beleaguered country! Of the World's Largest Mosquito in Kamarno, Manitoba, the less said the better. But I will always have a special place in my heart for the giant Canada Goose in Wawa, Ontario ---- famous to many a desperate trans-Canada hitch-hiker, such as myself. "Wawa" means "goose" in Ojibway.
I understand what you mean and I agree, it’s unfortunate that I had to leave out some awesome locations and attractions from this list, there are just so many to choose from, I chose the dinosaur because at my core, I’m still a kid obsessed with dinosaurs so it holds a special place in my heart. But I understand your point and the importance of highlighting and identifying the history and heritage of different groups across Canada. Im thinking I may do a part 2 to Include many of the sculptures I missed in this video 🙏.
The big Apple If you're doing a giant orange, you shouldn't have missed the big apple.. Being on the 401, it's probably the one seen by the most people.
Sunny the Banana stands 30 feet tall and weighs 6,200 pounds.
Awesome! Thank you 🙏
I was 100% expecting the Vegreville Egg for Alberta, but I completely forgot about the Drumheller Dino.

Shediaic Lobster is probably the most iconic on the NB
For sure!

New West Minster.......not Minister!
Great video!
Thanks!!!
That was a great show, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! Another interesting sculpture from my home province is the giant lobster in Shediac! 🦞
I came across that in my research as well!

They're still there. As of September 2024

No doubt the territories are amazing and pristine!
Probably the most important sculpture in north-western Ontario, was the Goose at Wawa Ontario. I would have chosen the Goose over the nickel.
That’s a fair criticism, for me it was a toss up, I’m a bit biased however 😅
Vegreville's big egg is probably the nicest big thing out there.
Gotta visit!
It is a weather vane and moves with the wind direction.
Pysanka
This is so cool
Thank you!
Great video. Although not included, I would vote for Mr.PG
Forgot about Mr. PG ❤️
The most intriguing sculpture in Manitoba would be the provincial legislative building straight from Rosslyn.
The big blue berry in NS is awesome also
Definitely!
Wake up babe Urban Atlas just posted
🙏🙏🙏🙏
So as a pei resident, i would say largest pumpkins , and for bew brunswick ya gotta go with largest covered bridge. So legendary they made a potato chip brand called covered bridge
Do the territories also have big statues?
The beaver statue in my hometown made a honorary picture.
😂
Vegerviles Egg... big hockey stick in BC, Moose Jaws big Moose, Medicine Hats big Tee Pee... sounds like you need a part 2. lol
Definitely 😂😂

So so many! There are entire websites dedicated to them lol!
....and the musky in Kenora!
There’s so many awesome ones across the country!

There are so many of these large sculptures across the country, great idea about a video on highway 11!
New Brunswick has the big potato in maugerville.

The big Apple

Not that impressive visually, but conceptually there has to be room for the UFO Landing Pad in St Paul Alberta!
I would've thought you'd show the world's largest mosquito in Kamarno Manitoba.
I def could have! I feel like I need to do a part 2. There’s a lot I missed!
Mudcat/Muddy the Catfish in Dunnville
You can't drive the 401 in Ontario without stopping at The Big Apple.
Indeed a wonderful
Thank you
Dunnville has a massive Catfish the size of a house lol
I love our big sausage in mundare lmao
😂😂😂
How about the cheeto in Alberta?
A good one! I just love dinosaurs 😂
The T Rex isn't really a sculpture... nonetheless, you can pay to go in it, climb the stairs and view the town of Drumheller from its jaws...
Landmark.... Landmark. 😂
I am not sure how you go east from Newfoundland and Labrador to get to Prince Edward Island... Unless you plan to circle the globe.
There has to be one 🤦
Barrie Ontario the spirit catcher.
Brighton ontario largest apple.
where is Ontario's big apple ?
Colborne
New Westminster, not New Westminister
Hunya
Fun video but you made a slight pronunciation error. The city in BC us New Westminster, not New Westminister
Ahh I see, I actually never know that. Thank you for sharing! I appreciate it!
@@Urban_Atlas All you have to do is read the name of the city -- New Westminster -- as it is written on Google Maps.
@@timothyjohnston4083 I read it as it’s written.
