With the last titan and the titan machinery, it is the perfect time to add a tinker, engineer type class, while with the vrykul lore it also leaves the door open to a runemaster as well as a necromancer happening in Northrend. With Midnight we have the high likelihood of a spellbreaker, battle mage type class happening as well as something heavily void related like a void hunter or the more troll themed shadowhunter that has existed in the lore.
Every 2 expansions since classic we've been getting 1 class, except dragonflight where it took 3 expansions, however 3 new expansions are coming in the world soul saga which based on the pattern leaves us for at least 1 new class coming and as some leaks say potentially multiple which would mean we are in for some crazy times. So thematically what classes could we be seeing added throughout the world soul saga?

A think the most accurate option would be a Night/Void/Cosmic class you proposed.
A think a lot of real world cultures deify the Night and all themes related like the moon and the shadows aroud it.
Although very close to Night Elves theme, I think that adding the Void here(and the possible "good side of it") we could have a very cool new Class.
An engineer / tinker class with a mech chassis ability would be cool. Each race has its own mech style like Druid forms or totems.
Exactly what we need!
There is only 1 physical ranged class so far in WoW , a new one would not hurt
Or a ranged with a tank option
Something that uses thrown weapons mainly would be cool.
It doesn't really matter whether it's physical or magical, the difference is almost non-existent in retail because resists and armor were too complicated for players so there are no resists and almost everyone is doing either magical or some special damage (explosive, nature/poison, shadow, whatever).
@@xxJing I've been waiting for axethrowers since vanilla
Dwarves and orc axe throwhers or an earthern and metal bender class like with avatar the last airbender would be cool.
What is not cool that almost all races can play all classes, keep classes restirctwd to certain races
I think instead of new classes they'll most likely use the new hero talent system to release themed class up dates like midnight could release void or holy themed options for all classes.
I think new subclasses are more likely then a new class, though a midnight elven spellsword type character seems possible.
In lore the other races do have similar classes, we just never see them.
Tinkers could easily be added to other classes, Draenei have their crustal mechs, high elves/nightborne have the arcane bots, Orcs have all those new mechs that were made during WoD, obviously Gnomes and Goblins, Dwarves have siegesmiths (as do humans since they worked so closely with dwarves for so long). The only ones that don't really have any kind of tech link are the trolls and night elves.
Demon hunter should allow Void elves and add a new void spec
Stop with void/light spec for existing classes. There is a non-sense.
Much better as a new class.
What this game really needs is 4th talent specializations for all classes. Rogues could get bardism as talent, Warlock could get Necromancy, Shaman geomancer tanks, monk ranged dps crane style loremaster, chronomancer mage,... They are already kind of doing that with season of discovery with the runes. I think they should just officially make them in retail this would also open up additional options for new hero classes
Can you explain the thematic connection between being a bard (playing musical instruments, giving buffs etc) and being a rogue (stabby stabby)? It's a stretch on any of existing classes but one it would most fit is druid. I'd prefer as own class but even then not sure it fits. Where have we seen it before?
@@GrooveSpaceArk The only other MMO where I saw Rogue with a Bard spec is RIFT. But then again, RIFT had a lot of weird specs.
Man, I'm sorry but in Warcraft setting bard class just seems so ass. What are vocal/guitar tunes going to do to enemies and allies? When there are already classes that has been established in the game. Heck I'd rather choose for them to add Shadow Hunters or Warden subclass for Trolls and Night Elves. At this point in the story what are they gonna do against Old Gods and Titans?
a Tinker and a Bard are the only real classes missing.
They allready tried a "Buff your Allies Class" With the new Evoker Speak.
An idea many randoms in groups don't seem to logically understand on how it works and what it does!
I still hope we get Druids, Shamans and Paladins for all..before the TWW or not to later after launch.
But if i look at the currently released roadmap....
We are also missing a spell sword type character like example red mage from FF14. Bard could easily fit with in the spellsword type, as a ranged or melee support dps.
A mechagnome tinker engineer would be AWESOME!
honestly i think the void/shadow hunter and spell breaker should just be extra specs or hero talents for priests and mages/warriors respectively. I say if they want to add new classes it should be something totally different like a tinker.
My sentiments exactly.
Tinkerer is the only correct answer.
Necro playstyle and aesthetic is already completely absorbed into Demonology Warlock and Unholy Death Knights.
That's not an argument. Evoker is a mage/druid mix and have its own fantasy.
Thats the thing @@utsuko. It needs its on fantasy and gameplay
Spellbreakers would be lore adaptable for other races I think, the ogres on alternate draenor made some anti-magic users, and that ogre empire kinda joined the mag'har, while the worgen has been so chummy with the NE that they'd be allowed to learn the abilities as well (or the emerald dream connection bears som inherently anti-magic abilities).
Trolls, with all their Loa killing and with Hkkar constantly looking in the background, would also have developed anti-magic at some point.
If there will be a new class I hope it's not as stupid as 3rd dwarf for alliance and dwarves for horde
this is so true what a waste of allied race and we payed for that
1: Northrend is getting some TLC
2: where the forge is located (that can create spiecies)
3: earthens are coming to town (quests inbound)
me thinks new northrend bound spiecies like: a fight over the forge leads to a new hybrid spiecies Human/orc + naga/Arachnathid...
Now that will blow my socks off very hard.
I've been thinking of a tinker class for a while, only playable by the "Short" races and always piloting a mech 😍
if they do a battlemage class ill literally cry ive been asking for it for 15 years
I really do want a spellsword, with spellbreaker as one of the specializations as a tank with who relies on barriers and disrupting enemy damage dealing ability to tank. With their only self heal being some time based one that rewinds to when you say casted your last barrier or something. Damage dealing one, and perhaps a support spec.
@@tenaciousgamer6892 yeah that would be awesome, I’ve always treated my Dk as a battlemage since I run frost but it’s just not the same hahah
They should focus on giving demon hunters another spec
Fel Healing
DH needs another spec called Just Chilling. Bro as that ship sailed k thx
And a new heal spec , like field medic for warrior ! With surgery theme, potions and bandages as spells , things like that
I would like to see goblin and both types of gnomens get tinkers!
Please Please give Demon Hunter a New Tree Void Hunter Tree and Light Hunter Tree.
They re adding tinker in the war within, i mean, there is this new flying machine that you can personalize. Also they are adding dwarves to the horde so there can be 2 races in the horde that can be tinkers and not only goblins
SpellBreaker;
Night Warrior;
Warden;
Huntress of Elune;
All of these are Important Elf-Thematic classes that could be added to the game. Maybe an amalgam of all of them in some form is possible.
No. Elves have enough
If Illidan goes to the side of the light or a variation of him does, i could see a light based dh in the works as i bet they would continue to fillow him.
Spell breaker sounds great, it could easily be just a Warrior/Mage like how the Palidan is essentially a Warrior/Priest. It could have a tank spec a DPS nuke spec and a DPS dot spec. Tinkerer I feel like could do the same and even have one spec be more stealthy like you use an invisibility device that acts like a rouges shroud ability as an example.
I would very much like to see a brawler class added. I know we have monk but it would be nice to have a fist fighting class that just goes full battle rage and isn’t anything to do with “chi”
Or “inner peace” they just beat up everything in their path street fighter style. Wearing mail as its armor type.
I feel like in this day and age of WoW it would be so easy, lore wise, to have a pretty much any class teach their knowledge to anyone would wants to learn. So maybe everyone comes to Quel’Thalas and Spellbreakers teach multiple races how to be a Spellbreaker.
That’s why Class Hall could help explain a lot of stuff when adding more races to a class.
spellbreakers are not only from highelves/bloodelves/voidelves, highborn and nightborn likely also have their own versions.
I’ve been waiting for a tinker class for so long .
I would love a necromancer, I've always loved necromancy in almost every game I've played.
WE AIN'T GETTING SHIT!!!!44
As the only mechagnome hunter main on my server lol I hope we do get tinker at some point like have an ability to get in a mech and rain down fire and call in air strikes would badass
for tinkerer i can see alot of races being able to use except the elves, drainei, trolls and tauren there more natureish so i dont think doing tinkering would be there thing but i could be wrong and i can see them having a tank spec since the gnome leader can basically tank in his mech it could work or we could have like turrets or something or be like a mechanical hunter we make our pets
Are you not saying necromancer every xpac at this point?
Spellbreaker would be great, i'll take a battlemage.
I still think it would’ve been perfect if they brought the tinker class once the Mecha Gnomes became a playable race.
I just want Blademasters
I want Tinkers lol. so many years of gnome and goblin tech. I want the class. Could be amazing!
Spell Breaker can be placed as Demon Hunter specialization
After watching all the videos on the races, classes and class changes we could be getting sometime in the future, I'm never going to be able to pick a main. >:(
Runemaster, shadowhunter, necromancer, tinker, and tidehunter murlocs b cool to have spell breakers is nice too
i hope spellbreaker come as forth spec for mages as tank role
would be soooo damn awesome
would love a tinker class.
I think it’d make sense if they have a Tinkerer (Mail Class) exclusive to Gnomes, Goblins, Mechagnomes, and Vulpera. They could also add Necromancers (Cloth Class) for all races im thinking. And as far as a plate wearing class I’m not sure, but if they have 4 plate 4 mail 4 leather and 4 cloth that would be 16 classes and it’d balance everything out since we got 13 classes so far. 3 Plate, 3 Mail 4 leather, and 3 cloth wearing classes. So the next 3 classes most likely won’t be another leather wearing class is my guess, but rather for the 3 remaining armor types. I wonder what plate wearing classes we could have?
I'd really like a dedicated gatherer class, perhaps with a dedicated summonable command table [i.e. final fantasy online]
I think a new void based cast would be great. We only have one spec, and void is one of the big cosmological forces
I will also like to see Wow add classes like in swtor where we have to “diffrent classes” but they are the same like the sith inquisitor and jedi consular
what if tinker had like 1 tank spec and it had the robot/mech/Shredder thing, then another spec is more magic based tinkering the kind of engineering high elves and draenei use and is more support based like evokers augmentation , then another spec with pure dps tinkering like bombs and turrets. Although I like the necromancer class more or maybe necromancer could be a 4th support spec for Warlocks
Tinker would be cool my only complaint would be that engineering exists. While I think it would be cool to be some sort of combat artficer ala dnd I am not sure it fits with midnight, last titan sure but if we get one in midnight it likely will be elven themed.
the class that needs a ranged spec and tanking spec. ( not healing though). would be cool
I'd like to see Draenei and Orc demon hunters
I agree, any new class will be introduced in Midnight, then they will be able to tweak and balance the new class in the final expansion in their trilogy
I've been wanting to play a spellbreaker since TBC lol
I want a Tinker/mechanist class so much, it's by far the most unique out of all the other ones mentioned as all of those are kinda re-skins of existing classes and their isn't any mechanical type class at all yet...also I think any race (or at least most) could easily be a tinker since it's basically someone that is using tech or piloting a mech, why would that be limited to certain races.
I know sameeeeee
Imaging pushing a button ina. Remote then a mech suit falling from the sky that you jump in and that’s your main Damage CD kinda like …. Meta with demon hunter. Where they switch into their demon form
Ill be happy with opening Void Elves up to Paladins so I can faction change
My take its, warden (if they dont become a spec or hero talent)
Necromancer (its almost a 100% we even have different shadowlands necromancy and skills)
Void hunter/shadowhunter (this is probably whats going to happen at first, makes sense, another mail wearer, open to all from trolls to Elves)
Tinkers, at this point to be honest they were put in the Enginering profession, from a Hero Class to just a profession. there was a possibility after BfA , but nothing happened, so probably they scrapped it.
It blows my mind why the community doesn't see it as a neccessity to have a Void based class when it's something so big in the lore and measly Shadowpriest is the only spec that can somewhat touch the theme.
Void cool. What about the light? My bet, blizz doesn’t make a class for just the void without something to compliment it. Like the light, Templar maybe. One could argue paladins are already there but idk. Light forged seems a little different that paladins
Spellbreaker could be a talent to warmage. An offens like PvP build.
I've been thinking this for awhile, necromancers no longer have to be just tied to the original necromancer concept. After shadowlands, death magic is so much more. I do wanna see the traditional necromancer but also then using anima (a lot of the spell effects were used for covenant abilities!) Or a spec based on souls (dranaei used soul magic on Outland and draenor). I can see an anima spec that's more of a support spec or the soul spec being a healer spec. I would still like some summoning with the class and maybe a plague or two but I think a lot of the good things from shadowlands death magic wise could be taken
Might not be classes but specs like how they did with evokers in DF. They did say they are looking to do the same for other classes but weren't 100% set on it. So I can see warriors getting a spellbreaker spec, mage getting battlemage(where they're fighting melee range instead of range), paladins getting a support spec like augmentation, Hunters getting shadow hunter. so forth and so on.
IDK if I care to much for a Void hunter class if anything I'd want a engineer/tinkerer class where you have a "holosmith" spec, a mech spec, and a purely bomb/turrent spec. Holosmith is like GW2's engineer(and do not give me that bs that is stealing from that game when Blizzard literally has former GW2 employees working for them and blizzard has already copied Arenanets flying with dragonriding.)
Tinker, Battlemage, and Witchdoctor are the only three classes I would love to see.
How about learneable subclasses like you could learn an aspect of another class or entire new mechanics to go crazy with.
I still hope for a spell breaker tier and class
Who says the void, and the light aren't magic though? Spellbreakers should be able to make an area null of any magic casting
I hope they actually make a cool class with 0 race restriction. We need something cool that everyone will get excited for not a damn race locked scaley class that probably less than 5% of the player base actually thinks is cool. My dream class would be a void based class with 3 roles, melee dps, ranged dps, and tank.
Void elf Paladin, Void Elf paladin and, erm .....Void Elf Paladin ?
One class of some sort I would like too see is Blood mage or other class while DK as with necromancy has already tapt in too such power.
I would like something like what Blood Troll uses.
Seeing as one of the most evil group there is in the man'ari can get redemption(never saw that coming) I guess Blood trolls could join up with Horde and the rest of the troll factions when even the thought to be dead Dark trolls have.
I would also want the mogu to be playable there is a non hostile faction out there already.
If they do add any new classes I don't think they'll do two at once. They already have their hands full trying to balance what we have and trying to balance more than one extra would probably be a whole mess.
New expansion? New semester waiting for thinker, again...
necromancers are not the most requested class of all time
So warcraft since its release 2004 its my also the year i was born thats why i have a deep connection to its Aesthetic gladly ive seen a game thats like warcraft i love myself as i exist ❤😢
My fav is night elves and also dragon aspects
The more the merrier. Tinker is my favourite though. The rest has too much the same with the other classes.
Hopefullly we getting Necromancer will main if sooo !!!!!!
I wish. I doubt though since UH dk exists
True but its just to hope course it will not be foolish to add one more spellcaster we do have mage and warlock into it :)@@Blood_Ronin
I hope they go for ShadowHunter
I'd much rather have more specs for existing classes tbh.
Are not shadow priests already a void class?
Which streamer hinted at this?
Tinker tinker tinker tinker!!!! pLEASE
How many times have you made this prediction, I guess if you make it every expansion you might get it right eventually
New classes are uneeded imo. Break pures.every class can do at least 2 roles. Even if ww gotta give classes 4 specs.
I NEED AN ENGINEER
What about blademaster ?
Common tinkerer.. gnomish and goblinntech for trees. Maybe even a mech tree for tank
I want to be a deer person or a naga
People have been BEGGING for tinker for like 10 years. No way blizzard will do something their community likes
I kinda don't want any new races unless they make sense. Dracthyr out of nowhere was... meh. And most of the allied races have been elf reskins (or tauren). Now they're reskinning dwarves constantly. The theory of the nerubians being playable was cool - until they completely changed the aesthetic of the potentially playable nerubian.
So many races to choose from and they chose to make up a random new race, to reskin old ones, to change a good one instead of making it work.
i don't believe we'll get new classes.
Why not, we've been getting at this pattern for the last 20 years.
@@Doronsmovies well normally they only anounce one expansion at a time and now they did 3 so I think we are in for a big change. Time will tell ofcourse but I feel like they will expand upon the hero talents instead and have a system like GWII with horizontal progression at max level. I could be wrong ofcourse.
@@tftg458 we are getting to the point to where you cant add a new class that doesnt feel like a reskin version of a previous class tinkerer and bard are the only ones left i think they should add but then after that dont add any new ones
i really hope if they do add spellbreaker they don't *EXCLUSIVELY* make it a tank
also its really dumb that they aren't maintaining racial restrictions for classes and are planning to just allow everyone to be everything
kinda ruins everything in regards to the RPG factor (something they've been struggling with already)
It's feeling less like retail and more like some weird private server
what's next? everyone gets to be evoker?
Another hunter? 😂
Have you ever been right about something? 🙂↔️
I don’t count the Drakthyr as a race to be quite honest with myself.
I always felt underwhelmed by the race due to its feminine undertone in the males as well as a strange new way of using spells that are slow in some cases.
I’d just like to see an Undead-Human. Just a normal human, but with undead features. Nothing more than a re-skin of the human model and I’m fine with that, it makes sense in the lore.
The dragon race? No bueno
Just don't make tinker goblin and gnome only FFS, I'd have played a demon hunter if they had more races then lame emo elves evoker if it wasn't just dragon twink
Shadiw hunters, rune master. Necromancers , all sound too much like classes already around. Tinker sounds overdue. Like an engineer class. I could imagine their ranged, their companion focused spec, meleee. Heal even. Pretty cool. Demon hunters are like obselete now ppl only rock with them becude they have flight gliding.
tinkers are just glorified engineers at this point. nope, dont want them
Void is so freaking lame. Shadow is infinitely more interesting concept. Void looks and sounds plastic. Something from a mobile game.
That they gave us the terrible Dracthyr Evoker instead of Spellbreaker battlemages is the reason I skipped the current expansion. DDracthyr should have been a normal race with multiple classes, and Spellbreakers should have been the class(Tank, melee dps, ranged dps/support)
I believe the reason there haven't been any new classes recently is because it is easier to use an existing "rigging" and just make a new playable race than to create a whole new class to balance, come up with spells, and specs for. I am hoping that they do decide on a tinker class but whatever this new class would be, it would have to be better than anything else out there to get players to switch their mains for.
