As a broker looking to go into sales as the next step to get me closer to opening a brokerage, I find your videos invaluable. Thank you for all you do!
@@AIChatBot01 I will be early next year. I’m currently with a major brokerage looking to move into sales after a few more broker bonus checks to pad me through the holidays. Why do know of an opportunity?
Hey i just had to comment and say youre doing an amazing job, keep posting these videos. From someone that is new as a freight broker i am learning a lot. I like how you just get to the point and show tough love
Thank you! I’m glad you like the style. All my vids are based on stuff that’s working now not 10 years ago so I will always shoot you straight and tell it like it is…without being a jerk of course. Hard to find people in this industry that just aren’t mean lol
I saw you come through Rich! Look forward to helping you on your journey. I’m still updating the course so if you see topics you want covered you know where to find me :)
Which conventions do you think are best to go to in terms of soliciting potential new customers? We're a new brokerage and have a couple of consistent customers but the margins are horrible across those customers (avg 4% between them).
Sounds like you are in produce, lumber or steel. The volume model only works when you have a lot of financial backing and can afford to run at a loss like that. Right now it's a combo of linkedin, calls and finding experienced talent. I help people do this directly in my private program I can send you some details if you're interested.
Hey could use some tips and tricks. I got let go as a CSM/ AE from a 100mil brokerage in pgh. I partnered with an asset carrier to and took my book of business with me. Now I’m running a brokerage trying to help my assets but also servicing my own book. I have an ops guy and we both book loads. How much rev/margin should i be making a week to decide to bring someone on??
I have a direct mentoring program that might be able to help more with this. But you should not be trying to help assets and service a broker book at the same time you need to separate those responsibilities asap.
This man is gold

Hey just watched your how to find shippers video from a year ago amazing vid , question if you build a list of 50 I’m wondering the ratio to loads
Each company should have 3-5 contacts at the company
1 company = 3 contacts
So a good list is 150 people
Impossible to predict the loads from that it’s a complex lifecycle from contact to loads
It’s Really to land on a quiality contact like you
Do you have a vido on how to get started step by step
Not on RUclips I have a step by step in my foundations program
