I asked this on Instagram but not sure my question was understood. Considering the cable connection to the base unit is waterproof, is there any chance of an extension cord in the future instead of buying two motors? I would love a 15 that could be used is a ~70 from time to time

Then the extension connexion wouldn't be fully waterproof on the long run or would be prone to failure due to user error.

@@PhilipKlawitter why would it not be waterproof? Same connection as motor-housing that is already underwater.

@@brendan-shanahan I don't know dude, I don't even own the product. But I doubt it's something easily fixable, if not they wouldn't go with all this trouble of added complexity for their product line.

Hey! Best to send an email to support@foildrive.com outlining with more detail what you man by catching air and can't go. We might be able to send some technique tips or if you can send a video of your take-off this would help too! - Caitlyn

    Hi,
With the longer cabled motor is the performance when wing/surf/pump foiling badly affected? Can you give an idea of how bad?

Hi thanks for this video and all the hard work. I'm interested purchasing ASSIST MAX but I am trapped as I don't know which motor height to choose. What would be your recommendation length for an intermediate wing foiler (70kg) that wants to learn downwind SUP and PRONE? 15cm - 20cm or 25cm? How do you choose and on what basis the motor height?🤙
