Do you have to program your FD seperately for different batteries (max & sport)? Or do the settings stay the same when you switch to a different battery?

I weigh 120 kg. and I am finding that the foil drive won't lift me without the help of a wave .... is there a weight limit ? for the foil drive Gen 2 ?

Maybe save someone else time. I tried installing on top tail no signal. The only placement that would work was near controller hand. New to FD but surprised at signal quality, or lack of.

One thing I’m wondering, which you didn’t address in the video. If you’re running foildrive Gen2 (I realise this video was made before Gen 2), as an E foil with the motor down the bottom of the mast near the fuselage. Is the two blade prop 50% less drag compared to the three blade prop when the motor is off and you’re riding a wave or ground swell? Just ordered my Gen2 setup for proning, but may replace my HEAVY Fliteboard with an integrated mast option, if testing goes well. Many thanks for creating this great product. Cheers Muz

These latches are weak, they crack with out you knowing and break! What the hell!!

Did everything this guy said and both sets of latches broke in 15 battery changes. There is a problem that needs to be addressed and fixed but that does me no good now while on vacation and no foil drive. By the way replacing a set of latches is $104! That I believe is called bullshit. Come on foil drive you can do better than that.

Thanks for the Christmas update 🎁! Have been struggling in choppy conditions to get up on small gear and in bigger swells where you think everywhere you go is "uphill". That's even harder than flat water. New boost is enabling me to ride waves I had only dreamed about.😊🎉..cancelled the jet ski on my wish list😂

I ride a 5’4” 46L board with an 880cm2 foil and i weigh 90kgs. I personally do not need the new boost settings. I find a longer 22 second 20% boost works better for flat water starts with my small foil and longish board and my battery last longer than the 24% boost.

Did the up grade and I'm sooo stoked!! I'm a heavy foiler so adding the additional power has made my prone foiling that much easier! Seriously has made a huge impact!

Have you ever considered putting the batteries in the paddle handle and replacing the paddle blade with a small motor?

I tried this once. It’s harder than it looks… 75L board (i weigh 90kg) i also tried it in the ocean. I gave up and foil driving without the wing.

That is exactly the question. How to mount or hold the controller. I successfully used a paddle holder to mount it to my wing’s front handle. Julia is apparently using the strap and holds it in her hands. What do you guys recommend? One year ago you promised to make on video on that.

UPDATE: If you have a Travel Battery and want to use the APP, please update your app before use. The recent firmware update includes the addition of technical profiles for the Travel Batteries! You may need to update, then re-start your phone before use.

UPDATE: The APP Also features an update that configures Travel Batteries. if you have a Travel Battery you will need to update your app, re -start your phone and you'll be good to go!

Nice upgrade features Paul, especially reminders like the FD is powered & ready or alarming/notifying inactivity. Any suggestions or recommendations when using 3-blade prop? I'm < 75kg & find boost isn't required. Thanks for all the great support of your products!

Great. New Feature request: Take off timer for winging. You set a timer in seconds and the cruise control will turn off once the timer ends ( and hopefully you are flying and powered with the wing)
