I often find the latch is so tight that I can’t open it with my fingers. It would be good to have a video of you opening the latches too and how to do this safely without damaging the mechanism if you don’t have the finger strength to do it by hand.
100% agree. The design is far from perfect. To open the latch, I use a cheap plastic auto trim removal tool.
I use half of an old school wooden clothes pin, works perfectly
My bad the other day I still had the battery connector cap on........ opps
The whole in the latch, what is that for? Looks almost as you could secure it with a screw?
Yes you can use a supplied screw to lock the latch closed however we have found this really isnt necessary as the latches are super secure
