Maybe there's a way to change the seat plate to the older one. As an owner of a 2023 Gravely Pro turn Zx, I didn't know that they changed it to that style. It doesn't look right, the handle blocks the Pro turn lettering on the front.

Thanks for watching. I'm not sure if all machines that have a suspension seat are like this. I do know the air ride seat has its own platform. The 500 series proturns have an air ride seat, and the 600 has that floating platform.

Thanks for watching. With all due respect, I would never own a Bad Boy. Reason 1- The nearest dealer to me is over 120 miles away...
Reason 2- ALL their parts are proprietary and cost a FORTUNE. Neither make business sense. Are they a good machine, yes, but for business, it's not an option. Most pros in my area run Kubota, Gravely, or ExMark.

I'm just glad I bought my ZT HD 52 last year before Gravely's bean counters defiled the brand. As per Brian's advise, I installed Copperhead High Lift Blades and a Green Guard. My dealer added the Assist Handle, Suspension Seat and Tow Hitch. I bought the upgraded air filter system ,Stainless Oil Drain Hose and replaced the skateboard tape with Rubber Diamond Plate Treads. After 30 hours I have no complaints!

@charlesbeall2589 thanks for watching. I added a rubber anti-fatigue mat to this machine. The bust my arse factor went from a high 7 to zero by doing that. I paid just under $14.00 for it on amazon. I'll put a link for it in the description in the event anyone wants to check it out.

@@BigSouthOutdoorsTV Thanks Brian, my 'Stealth' ZT HD came with a rubber mat on the floor pan, they say it helps with all the rattling some of 'em do. Mine's as quiet as it needs to be.

@charlesbeall2589 most machines now come bare. You have to pay extra for a mat and that SUCKS.

from what i looked up gravely and ariens are made in the same pant in brillion wisconsin so there is a possibility that they are designed by the same people. i think they did that to the seat to make customers more annoyed to do it and bring it to the dealer more often to be worked on even for the little things. hope you guys figure something out to make it work for you. keep up the good videos. i will be looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for watching. Yes, they are built by the same company, but you have to know the history behind Gravely. They WERE NOT designed by Ariensco. They were designed by Ben Franklin Gravely. Gravely was founded in 1916. He built the first belt driven zero turn in 1924. Ariensco is the 6th corporation to own the rights to sell Gravely, but they still build Gravely mower to the original specs as far as the quality of steel, etc.
A lot has changed over the years, but the build quality remains.

Thanks for the info and video! That seat has to go. Maybe 4 quick release pins to replace the bolts, take 4 pins out, disconnect safty and pull seat clean ou, lol. Cut that handle plate or maybe stick some pipe insulation over it as a guard. Going to be nice to see what fix works. My MZ Rambler is like open air when you lift the seat and foot plate up. Soooo easy to work and maintain.

You should consider getting a new Yakta zero turn. Whether you use it for commercial or residential the manufacturer gives you a 5-year 3000 hour bumper to bumper warranty!! The best in the business. Honestly it will probably be my next one👍
