Could you please do a test about the non-shrink ?like same size clay (one with this formula one with PVA )make same shape and see how they end,I’m curious about this but I don’t have ingredients to try..
Hi Katherina, how does this clay compare to your cold porcelain with PVA glue? is it same strength and hardness, or does it break easy. Is the corn syrup in the recipe for preservative reasons? I just bought some tylo powder, so I am going to try out your recipe, and as always I'll be adding some toilet paper to it in some samples to see if it can strengthen it even more. I suppose it is totally edible (without toilet pape ;-)
I’ve tried today exactly same formula but failed, the clay can’t be pulled apart as noodle(water drop sharp ),it just like rice flour mix with water,I used CMCPowder .I’m not sure what was wrong 😢
Hi Katherina, so glad I found your channel and very excited to try this recipe! I've found all the ingredients except for the corn syrup. Would glucose syrup work, or should I use specifically one made of corn? [Note added❗; I found the answer in the comments for this video; ruclips.net/video/bFlXotTv4vE/видео.html and I will answer it here for others wondering.] -Yes, glucose syrup works, with the addition of lemon juice or vinegar for their preservative properties. The fact that this clay does not contain PVA-glue (which irritates my skin and air-ways, especially when making it) and does not shrink will be a game-changer for my sculpting and I can't wait to get started here!😃 Thank you so much Katherina, and may you and your followers have many wonderful clay-days ahead!🌺, Elin from Sweden.
