I write this comment to yell "Bravo!" to these two pianists. The drama comes from the performance, not the ability to play the notes of a composer.
These are accomplished performers who have splendid techniques, the ability to play dramatically, as well as technically perfect.
Musically, they play this orchestra piece technically perfect and dramatically enhancing. This is a fantastic team! Bravo!

the reason why i like this version better than most is not because of the two pianos or even that these two people have more talent than the other's i have seen play this... it is simply because i can just hear them feel it. the fact that they are throwing themselves into the piece and feeling the energy generates a powerful vibe... they are truly great musicians, not because they have fast fingers, but because they know how to feel.

That's very moving and one of the best compliment I heard. Thank you very much. FDN.

The piece sounds more dissonant and modern when played on two pianos. These pianists seem to be enjoying the performance. Love it!

Beautiful played - I only knew the version for 1 piano (by Victor Staub) Do these giants also play Lutosławski's Paganini - Variations ?
