Man. Resurgence of injected plastic keyboards is really fun. With the baurer and this one. It really comes around from plastic to metal and back to plastic Great video ❤
Like Alex says, I think for pure value, Neo and others have this beat but the higher quality "plastic" kits do SLAP. I still go back to my Tiger80 Lite from time to time and it's still a great board. I'm sure this is the same. What I'd really like to see is more mixed material boards.
You are absolutely right Alex, after my M1W and Gem80 I have to say my red Luminkey80 is up to now my most premium board. If you hold it in your hands; the weight of it, the styling, the finish, makes you feel you have something really special at hand. Without breaking the bank, which is astonishing. I wonder which board could top it....
@@roxgofy8172 Thanks for your reply! Yeah I saw it many times on YT, yet I can't find a site that doesn't say 'sold out' or something else. I know it's a groupbuy but it's ridiculous to make people do a fox hunt into the deep interwebs to buy it. It's 2024!
@@l3linkTreel3enster The sat75 definitely has more features and a better build quality than the bauer. I've been dailying a bauer lite for about 5 months now and I've noticed that there is a small gap between the front of the top and bottom case that you can actually press down but cant do anything about because of how the case fits together. There's also the obvious lack of a display and knob which many are used to having on their own boards. The things that the bauer has the sat75 beat however are visual design and sound. I absolutely love how the bauer sits on my desk at home or on my laptop when I take it to work, and how the curved top case makes for super unique two tone builds, and I definitely prefer the look of just a simple "board with keys" keyboard over one that's loaded with screens knobs and dials. The little details are also super well thought out like the taco bumpers to help with alignment or the little debossed details molded with the parts. As for sound I think you have to have both in front of you to really decide but from my experience the bauer just sort of sounds a lot more lively than other plastic boards, not to mention the spacebar sounds insanely good with barely any hollowness or resonance. imo both of these keyboards ultimately exist so that people who are fans of the keyboard hobby but are on a budget can finally afford something with heritage and history, and aren't for people who want the outright best value (like the neo boards for example). If your choice for a relatively affordable keyboard purchased has narrowed down to the bauer lite (the OG version of which being one of the very first poron gasket mounted boards in the hobby) or the sat75 (the OG version of which being the first board to include both a display and a knob) then I think you already know what your final choice is based on what you prefer
you have converted me ktt roses are one of my 2 recommendations for switches along with ktt lattes which i use on all my spacebars (ktt latte also good budget ktt switch, would recommend)

Great video ❤
don't forget the Transition Lite, which is a lot cheaper
I really appreciate you checking out my Ghost Dragons! They sounded great in the build! 🙌🏼 Great stream as always 🫶🏻

I can't wait to get my hands on one. The transparent purple is absolutely perfection

In terms of TKL, check out the cycle8 that’s coming out

This seems like better value than the Bauer Lite
Out of curiosity, in what ways do you see this as better value?

Sat75 is cheaper than Bauer Lite, you get the stabs with it which is nice. The sat75 has better features oled screen.
Bauer Lite was never about value.
I was on the fence on the Bauer Lite but I think I’m going to get this one…. If it’s available in Germany soon
Lmao when the $100 sat75 sounds better than the $500+ sat75.
Also love gmk lavender rabenda
I just put the Ghost Dragons in my most recent build! I love em, but to be fair I've never used other SWK switches before.
Thanks for using them! Glad to hear you like them!!
@@thecaptainsterlingHi, do you have anymore? Shipping from US stores are expensive to Canada. If you have anymore on hand, I’ll gladly buy them.
Theres something about plastic boards I keep coming back to. Even the HHKBs I love is partially due to the plastic.
dang it. now i cant justify getting this since I own the Transition lite TKL

What are the keycaps on the first keyboard?
sounds fye
I hate how tall some of these boards are. This woulda been an instant buy if I didnt need a wrist rest to comfortably use it....
what is that keyboard on the top?
Mode Sonnet Alexotos Edition.
@@Moritz.Langen looks so good, well balanced with orange accent. This is top tier visually
I can't hear a difference in linear switches in general
Cool hobby
oot but do anyone have recommendation for thocky or deep sounding of HMX switches? I'm considering eva or canglan v2 but still not sure about it
HMX jammy switches are deeper sounding (relative to other HMX switches)
@@GSixFiveFourThreeFourDashTwo jammy a little bit too silent for me and there's no vendor that brings jammy to indonesia also haha but thanks for the recommendation
Try the Hibiscus or EVA. They're still HMX so they won't be trully deep and thocky like the Oil Kings or Vertex V1...
