"strip away unnecessary actions you say" maybe the guys at sansmind should read this book. Yeah I said it. lol. I'm definitely putting this on my wish list. Thanks for the review David; informative as ever. Didn't even know this book by Earl existed.

Hey David i don't do gambling effects is this only about gambling effects or i can apply to any card magic.

You can apply it, the book is more about Henry Christ's classic "Fabulous Four Ace" routine while talking about removing anti-climactic moments in your magic and ensuring that the revelations build in progressively stronger and more distinctive ways. In other words stripping away every unnecessary action in your routines. He also covers maintaining a stack while a spectator shuffles the deck, maintaining the stack as the magician, and producing the Aces. He'll also cover two sleights, the Sting Cut and the Real Optical False Shuffle.

Would you say this is for beginners or advanced people?

The effects and moves in this book are not "difficult" but it's important to understand that simplicity doesn't mean "easy." This book is for people who want to become better and more efficient at what they do. This book is also for people who do 4 ace routines, gambling style effects etc.
