I have the same model you are exactly right in what you say about the supermax 16-32 drum sander. It massively improves productivity. It doesn't take 100% of concentration when operating as long as the ( Goldie locks) spot on the fead belt has been tensioned in . Sometimes, if it tracks towards a side I put more tension on the side it's going towards + slightly loose the opposite 😊 rinse repeat a little bit. When it dialled in its a game changer 🙌 👏 👌 😍 😊

I have the same problem with it tracking from side to side but small price to pay. Good bit if kit otherwise. Thanks for watching

Superb review. Thank you for showing.
The supplier reviews just show a new clean machine.
I feel all reviews (like yours) should show the machine working. I think I have finally made a decision.
    Thanks again.

anyone have any experience with these on thin stock plywood. 4mm and 3mm. Looking perhaps for. a thickness sander that can remove variations in height from stock to make a set of true consistent 3mm wood.

What casters did you buy on E-Bay/Amazon?

I got the casters on Ebay they were 50mm heavy-duty with a 10mm threaded bar to fit into the legs.

Hi, thanks for watching to Answer your question. Yes, I would recommend this machine. It is good value for money, and I have countless hours work on mine still going. With only minor repairs

Trouble with this type of machine is that the abrasive stays same shape so holds the dust and just clogs. Real speed sanders have long belts which change shape as they go around but those machines cost a fortune in comparison. The abrasives on this cheap type machine need changing a lot. You often see these up for sale, secondhand for that reason.

I have to be honest. I rarely suffer with that problem on this machine only Sometimes. with softwood. And this machine gets used every other week. Thanks for watching.
