This is perfect timing, BYD. I identified some fungus in my yard today. I’ll go grab some product tomorrow.
Always spray earlier in the morning to reduce chemical burn on the turf ESPECIALLY when using the active ingredient propiconazole.
Will be applying the BioAdvance tomorrow for my fungus.

I like to remove the liquid from the bottle and use the backpack sprayer. That way I know for sure how much fluid is going on the correct surface area.

I have fungus which is weird to me. I have emerald zoysia and it hasn’t rained on my street for 15 days, temps over 100 the last week and fungus has appeared, despite humidity being low ( under 60%). Because of lack of rain, much of my lawn hasn’t completed green up, terrible year for me. Don’t really irrigate because of chlorine in tap water ( kills all bacteria, good and bad) please please let it rain, good vid BYD!

Sprayed it last week! But temps were right under 85 when I did it. I recommend spraying if at all possible in the 70s during summer time. I had a few areas that ended up with yellow tips. I don't think burn, but definitely stunted grass. I read that the active ingredient can do that in high temperatures, especially to Bermuda.

I'm a noob and I attempted my first Bioadvanced Lawn Fungus Control treatment today. Between my kinking hose and the cat getting out, I got 2.2k sq ft treated then ran out. Just as you said in all of your videos, this comes out fast. My water pressure is super low it can barely run a sprinkler so I thought I'd be ok. *Why do they put the side with the window on the front of the bottle?* Design flaw or I'm doing it wrong. You have to put your face in the stream of product to see how much you're going through. I ordered another bottle and tomorrow I'll do my backyard. I'm super envious of your blue hose after today. Another thing to add to my list.
Everyone using Bio advanced on Zoysia should know this can burn the grass blades, most ofnthe time the grass will heal but it can die as well. Whenever using propiconazole spray extremely early and never when the temperatures are above 89 degrees. It will depend on cultivar you have but I would rather mix myself than rely on a hose hook up.

Scalping grass is more likely to die in summer heat not have a disease become active. The main reasons for most people to have lawn diseases is poor drainage cause the soil to remain wet or soaked for long periods, WAY TO MUCH FERTILIZER, Watering at the wrong time usually in later afternoon causing grass to remain wet for the magical duration for some diseases to become active and watering for short periods creating very shallow roots, dull mower blade or reels and several others but those are the usual ones that the home owner causes or could fix. Days of rain, overcast etc that causes the grass to be wet for days on end is a good time to use fungicide before but if you have a healthy lawn it should be fine

How do I know if I have fungus in my yard?
If you all of a sudden start seeing discolored spot in lawn, you’ve been having high heat and humidity. And you done nothing different to lawn then most likely it’s a fungus. Take a picture of that spot. Then google lawn fungus identification. Match you picture to those you see. But if you think 🤔 you have one, treat regardless. Fungicide won’t hurt the lawn but read label on when to apply it.
Nothing is textbook when dealing with Turfgrass Diseases. Someone may identify the disease during different times, just becoming active, the middle which is usually when the disease is most active and can spread causing the most damage and the end when the disease is no longer active which makes it pointless to spray. The more you use fungicides the more your tufgrass will depend on that or even become immune that's why if you are going to use fungicides you need to use different classes of fungicide and different active ingredients, for the course I'm superintendent at, I have 5 different fungicides to use, 3 I continually rotate and the other two are just in case something more serious happens like a pythium disease. At home I use no fungicides at all as prevention and I have Empire Zoysia cut at 2 inches plus a 5,000 sq ft A4 bentgrass green and the only thing I need to worry about is dollar spot so far.
I have northern cool-season grass, if I just applied a triple 16 fertilizer do I need to wait to use this on my lawn?

Hey BGC I’ve noticed this happening in my yard. We are expecting rain today here in SC, so I won’t be able to get it down today. Since I can’t put it down today would it hurt to use a liquid lawn fertilizer 16-4-8 today to help repair the lawn? I would hate to use my fungicide on a heavy rain today. How would you play this sir?
Depends on conditions of lawn. If you’re not getting consistent hydration in this heat and you use that liquid, make sure you’re able to hydrate it a couple times this week.

We had a really hot month of May and my backyard got torched….now we have had a lot of rain! How do you tell if it’s just burnt or disease? I feel like I had this issue last year too!
I’d apply a granular Fungicide asap if rain is coming but more than like you just have heat stress and will need a boat load of rain to correct the issue.
How long should I wait to apply after I do liquid iron and humid acid by simple lawns. Apply tonight

Will this cure the large brown patches or just prevent it from spreading further? If it cures, how long does it take for the grass to turn green again assuming proper watering? This heat has turned half my Bermuda yard brown!
Also is it okay to apply Spectracide triazicide a day or two after applying fungicide? I’ve got bug issues too..
Apply bug killer anytime. Liquid works faster fungicide. It cures and prevents, but can take weeks to see results.,read the label 🏷 for better information.
