    Thanks. I had bought a bottle of the Fertilome to use just a little to spray on the leaves of my hibiscus (which worked to stop yellowing leaves), and I was wondering about using the rest of the bottle to regularly spray on my bermuda lawn. I have a lawn care company, and the grass looks pretty good (It's expensive but I am a 64 yr old single woman), but don't you think it would be fine for me to use a battery operated tank sprayer? For soil treatment in general it should be 4 oz per gallon per 500 sq.ft or 8 oz per 2gallons 1000 sq.ft. Water it in or risk burning the grass. If you're doing soil treatment then use a granular. For a foliar spray on my Fescue and Bermuda I use 1 to 2 oz per gallon with Urban Farms liquid lawn that also adds extra greening. On my Bermuda areas I come back 2 weeks later and reapply the same dose a 2nd time or as needed. Do some small test spots with lower doses until you find out what your particular grass or turf likes.

    BYD...I’m getting lots of compliments from my neighbors. My crush line is off the charts. I used 16 oz. of Fertilome diluted with 16 oz. of water in a 32 ounce hose-end sprayer per 500 square feet per the instructions. It darkened my front yard up to a beautiful dark green. The back yard darkened up a lot but not as much as the front yard. I see you used 100% Fertilome in your hose-end sprayer and didn’t dilute it. Do you think I can do that and be okay? You did. So I should be okay. What are your thoughts?

    • @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral
      @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral  4 года назад +3

      Pedro Cleveland the hose end sprayer will automatically dilute it for you. I can’t remember the rate I used be I did split applications if I’m not mistaken. I also used a high octane fertilizer to push my lawn. I’m not recommended you use a 46-0-0 because it could be deadly 😂. I was so impressed with that Fertilome though, it is awesome 👏🏽

    • @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral
      @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral  4 года назад +2

      mainj54 this product is chelated iron, it bond directly into the plant 🌱, it increase chlorophyll product at a raid rate, this increases the deeper green you’ll get with you lawn, shrubs, trees 🌲. Your lawn won’t get deeper green in most cases from iron in the soil. Plus not every body has the perfect soil conditions in Ga. a 3 season fertilizer with iron works well but products like these enhances appearances and Iron uptake. But this product is not necessary to get a green lawn.

      Shawn Matthews totally disagree with. I can only say you have other factors keeping you from success. Get a soil test done to your lawn. 👍🏾
