Milo is sold out all over the Dallas,Tx metroplex also. I lucked out and called a hardware store here in dallas at the right time because they had just got a truck in with 60 bags of milo. So I rushed up there and was able to buy 10 bags. Now I have 8 extra bags on reserve after using 2 on my lawn and I'm happy. I never water my lawn and I applied this stuff to my lawn one time in May 2018 and a year later my yard is still green and full so milo is hard to beat and that's why I still use it. I refuse to use a fert that you have to keep reapplying when milo lasts at least a year using only rain water :-)

Hey BYD! I am rehabbing a Bermuda lawn with tons of weeds. I put down a pre-emergent on March 15th before watching any of your videos 😬. Do you think I could put Bermuda seed down anytime this summer and get any growth?
A second benefit for me in dallas is the smell of milo keep the rabbits from eating my yard. They can't stand the smell either. That sunniland all natural fertilizer same 6-4-0. as milo I got the same results. That's the fert home depot pulled milo for is sunniland. The granules are a little larger.
I just overseeded my lawn and was wondering if the purely organic lawn food would be good to use as a starter. I do not need phosphorus per soil test results.
Jason Montes I haven’t tried it but based on the comments, it’s great 👍🏾 DOC has a winner over there on How to. The only problem he has is keeping it in stock ( that’s a good problem to have ) 😃

I like the introduction. Nice video. What setting did you use for the Lesco? One thing I noticed about the Purely Organic is you can apply it late into the fall season because it's not dependent on high temperature to activate, if you will, like Milorganite. I use a hybrid fertilizing program and would not use the organics deep into the fall season; I typically use 46-0-0 fertilizer as my last application near Thanksgiving. Just a FYI. I am up north so I have TTTF and bluegrass, but still enjoy your videos. I haven't seen your son in a spell. Good to see him out there in the yard helping "old school" Note: They also have a liquid hose end purely organic fertilizer - 13.0.4.
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral Thanks. That confirms what my test shows that Lesco and Earthway (at least mine) settings are pretty much the same. I used 17 and put down, according to the math, just a little over 5lbs per 1K.
Preston Clark it’s great for all grass but this is not a quick fix product, meaning if you Lawn is in really bad shape you need to do other things along with this product.😀

Preston Clark has no order like Milo but it does not contain iron like Milo. It will get you green but not as deep ( Ironite or liquid iron may be needed for that )

Fernando Aguilar you’ll need to keep your yard on prodiamine diet, I’d also call code enforcement and see if they can make them cut their lawn. Or get to know them and show them the techniques you’ve learned from BYD 😃
My front yard is divided into two sides by concrete one side is bermuda and the other side nothing but crabgrass thats the side with the neighbor im telling you about, would you reccomend me to glyphosate that side and reseed or whats the best option? 95% is crabgrass and i hate mowing my grass cause of that

Dan Guerra try to resurrect it first but the common Bermudagrass Seed has used was made by Scotts. Keep your receipt though, if they don’t won’t you can get a full refund.
I agree with BYD try to bring it back to life first. Was your yard seeded or was it sod? If it was sod reseeding may cause a color variation and different growth during the season.
I bought the house last fall and the lawn wasn't in great shape...so I've been watching it wake up slowly from dormancy and see some bare spots so I thought reseeding was needed...but I'm no expert, which is why I follow BYD.
jtrevino12345 jtrevino12345 if its annual like mine you can just wait it out. As temps get higher it will naturally die. You can mulch it down a little at a time also. There are some products out there you can you though. Check out this video from a buddy of mine an ask him in the comments what did he spray on his winter rye to kill it off. 2steps69 like I said, I don’t hide anything at all. If you follow me all the way through you’ll see the results. Most of these guys are showing you a perfect lawn and just telling you or adding more product. You have to see it at its worst to appreciate it when it’s at its best 👍🏾

You can't find that organic fertilizer or milorganite in this part of Georgia. I had to drive all the way up to Cartersville for Milorganite.
Look at Ace hardware, they have organic fertilizer that has something like 20-0-4...or very close. I used it recently and it's working out so far!
