1973 Ford 900HP XA GT Falcon Sedan
- Full nut and ground up build
- Genuine JG33 GT Sedan
- Factory Wild Plum (1 of 42)
- One of one in its factory build specification
- Bare metal repaint in original colour
- Mansweto built 900hp 454ci Cleveland small block V8
- Built C4 automatic transmission
- One off custom 3-piece 20” Globe wheels
Pop the bonnet and at first glance, it appears to be a beautifully restored factory engine bay, but as you start looking a bit closer, you will notice a few clues to the beast that sits in front of you. What appears reasonably factory, is actually a naturally aspirated 454ci stroker small block Ford stroker built by the best in the business, Mr Jason Mansweto, that makes 900hp! The engine features a brand new Arrow Cleveland small block, Callies 4.125 crank, Clevlite race bearings, Traum Mansweto engraved custom pistons, Molly rings, SCAT connecting rods, Ferro Stainless Valves, melling high volume oil pump, Cro Cams solid roller cam, Black Mamba and bushing style solid roller lifters, Custom TM CNC Ported CHI alloy heads, Custom Mansweto Ported CHI intake and a Pro Systems 1050 Carburettor. Fuel is supplied by a triple hanger Walbro fuel pump in a GT fuel tank modified to hold an extra 50 litres. Keeping everything cool is a custom made PWR radiator and twin thermos fans. Gasses are expelled through a Mansweto custom mandrel bent 3 ½ inch dual exhaust with X pipe and pacemaker headers. The ignition system is an ICE setup cleverly disguised to look factory. On the engine dyno the car ran 906hp on race fuel and 866hp on pump fuel, very impressive to a full under bonnet, naturally aspirated street car.

What an absolutely gorgeous XA GT. When this colour was released I wasn't too keen on it but now am a believer.
I'll take one in any colour. 👌
Outstanding another quality Ford GT with heaps of grunt what a colour overall package long live the Ford GTS
This is an absolute weapon. It is by far the best example of an XA I've seen. They don't get that much attention as the XY's or XW's but man this thing is by far the most beautiful toughest falcon I've seen in a long time. My uncle had an XA GT but nowhere near as tough as this beast, fantastic build job. If I had the coin this would already be sitting in my garage 😄
This is better looking than any XW or XY I've seen, just jaw dropping
I can watch this video all day. I still miss my XA after 12 years! And hopefully one day get another. In my opinion the XA was the best and true Aussie muscle car ever! Great work mate.
Cheers,
Those globes on the back are awesome
The best detail l have seen
this has to be Australias finest sweetest toughest streetable XA Falcon,i LOVE everything about it and the Mansweto extras just top it off ,OUTSTANDING
I'd be tempted to say i'd almost take this beauty over a GT coupe!
Insane detail, hats off from a holden guy.
My GOD YOU GUYS HAVE SOME BEAUTIFUL CARS. 👍
Absolutely beautiful build simply the best XA GT Ford Falcon, coolest Aussie Car cheers 🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺😎🙂👍👊
Was looking for turbo hanging down from exshaust..900 hp...nah. never!
Awesome falcon. Sadlyvthose cars are out of reach for the ordinary joe now. Backnin the 90s i had toranas and mates had falcons. Wen cars were cheap to buy and cheap to play with . Sadly those days are gone. Beautiful resto 😎👍
That ticks all the right boxes, pump it up.
What a beautiful example of an xa, mint!! Don't believe its 900 hp though.
Concrete floor in my lounge room🏆
really!
why not make it a everyday driver, can't take it with you and no matter how good you take care of it, it won't last forever.
also if you plan on leaving it to your kids they won't have the same appreciation for it, they'll want cars they grew up with like mitsibishi magna's lol
Nice car. Couple tiny rust holes creeping thru the ds bottom boot drip channel. Hi def picks up small blemishes for the keen eye. Anyone spot it? Banger car thou.
Definitely don't want no Auto but yes please on the rest
It's nice but I'd rather a manual.
Just missing the sunroof
Is it a genuine gt
Yes, it is a genuine GT. More details on this car are available here: seven82motors.hibid.com/lot/116172235/1973-ford-xa-gt-falcon-sedan
