Always love seeing collections from our friends down under that so closely mirror what we also love here in the states. I've got a 57 Chevy here but I suspect his is MUCH faster. :)
In this spec it’d probably be a bit impractical and the fuel bill would be be horrific at $5.00 + per litre for race fuel, but there’s only reason why you couldn’t build a tamed down street version of such an engine if there is enough cooling system/passages designed into the block internally.
Wow great to see more episodes! you're ripping them out. What a collection, love the original centerline autodrags on his Camaro, I have the same wheels on my HQ coupe (Look up my channel) looks amazing. would love a convertible just like that!! That bike is simply amazing too, good reliable old evo.
Plenty more episode to come Dave! Yes, interestingly when I did my mechanical apprenticeship many moons ago, the mechanic I was working under had a killer HQ 2 Door GTS with a banger 350 SBC on the spray, factory lime metallic green with centerlines, low 12-sec car back in the early 80s. I've never forgotten that car and it had a big impact on me. Will check out your channel. :-)
it is not the fastest or quickest aspirated car in australia,it was previously under the now defucnt APSA pro street rules the no1 mod strret aspirated car.nice capri though.
@@GlennEverittMasterofMachines it really is a shame,i use to crew and do the engines for my brothers car at there meetings.i dont think it was viable for them without more sponsors to help out and the then current people in charge moved on and no one replaced them to move it forward
I mean is every car thats a feature picture for the story we get to see get to hear watch get a kick in guts to let its roar go wild the ht quick glance over rover was highly disappointed thats why i said clickbait cause that was the only reason i watched the ep i mean shit can't afford these cars anymore all i can do now watch others enjoy them sit back close the eyeballs an listen to that sweet sound an i felt robbed
@@davidmackieson4609 , now I understand. This is effectively a part two of his Big Block Hatchback Torana feature where we actually drove it. Most of our videos feature a drive segment. The one thing I like to do is put the viewer in the passenger seat, as you're right, these types of cars are out of most peoples reach today. Your feedback is great though, and down the track when we make some fresh new content, I'll be sure to fire up more machines where driving isn't an option, so you can enjoy the sound. We have a heap of cool video's on the channel that derived from our TV series before the switch to digital and I hope you take a look and enjoy them. I'm glad you took the time to reply and paint a clearer picture of your thoughts, I really appreciate it.
Nice bunch of cars - doesn't matter if you're an aussie or an American , we all love our hot rods & classics. !!

I wonder if a 600 cu motor can be daily driven or would it over heat or prematurely wear out in the traffic

This footage was shot a while back. Gee, I didn't know ASPA was defunct! That's a shame.

Sorry Wane, when we feature too little, people get upset, so we like to add some substance and duration. Thanks for watching though, we appreciate it.

Glenn Everitt - Master of Machines ..yeah I agree!!! We really need to hear the engines!!! It's 'UnAustralian' not to give it a kick in the guts!!!
Glenn Everitt - Master of Machines I can’t wait for the smellaphone to be invented.👃🏼
Track it, not the street.
Grow up.
