Philadelphia, Buffalo, New England, and Pittsburgh should consider building DOMES and smart stadiums. Multiple-use facilities can generate additional revenue as well.
This stadium is definitely getting made even with Chicago politics getting in the way, it's getting made. The Bears are doing everything they can to not build this beauty in the suburbs.
happy the "amazon's just walk out technology" is starting to be implemented in new stadium designs and will soon be mandated on every stadium in the future after the CLIPPERS revolutionized the idea. hail clips.
They haven’t even broke ground yet. And this video contradicts itself saying it’s going to be downtown yet increase property value in the Arlington heights area.
I noticed that some of the computer generated video in this presentation was from a previous proposal to put a dome over Soldier Field. Look closely and you will see the difference. The footage is mixed in with the footage of the current proposed stadium. Go Bears! 🎉
This stadium will require over 3 billion of taxpayer money with prices for games, parking, and concessions that will be beyond the average fan's ability to pay. If the Bears pull this off, it will make the parking deal the City of Chicago made become the 2nd stupidest deal the city ever made.
Be nice to see this done in Arlington Heights not on the lake front i dont see why the white sox dont take that stadium site to build on the lake front!!!
@ Not a hater…4 decade diehard Bears fan. Yes we are building a new stadium but it’s not gonna have all of these features! He’s exaggerating! You’re crazy if you think the Bears are bringing brand new technology that doesn’t even exist…it’s not their style. 🤦🏽♂️🐻⬇️ will it be awesome, yes but it won’t be this!
No one cares. You’re about to tax the city of Chicago more but you can’t spend money on a new coach? You can’t put a competitive team on the field? Give me a break. Until the bears make playoffs I’m done spending money on tickets and merchandise.
How in the world will it cost $4.9 billion. Allegiant in Las Vegas cost $1.9 billion. Am I missing something that they'll be putting in that cost $2 billion more than Allegiant? And the taxpayers will be paying for it.
Cool looking stadium but I don't think it'll happen. The city of Chicago doesn't want any more taxes and the rest of Illinois doesn't want to pay for something they won't ever use. It's also unfair to ask the non sports watching Illinois taxpayers to subsidize the team and an NFL team who is just going to turn around and charge you $1000 for nose bleed seats. On top of that the Bears aren't even a winning franchise so either they pay for the stadium themselves or it's time to move on. And Illinois fully expects republicans and other business leaders to bring politics into the mix and say the bears are leaving because of bad democrat policies. Well as someone from Illinois who now lives in Arizona, Arizona has the opposite problem where they're sick of people moving her and traffic getting worse. So for those from Chicago, it's not Democrats driving people from Illinois, its businesses overstaying they're welcome.

Sorry my guy, but this isn't for certain yet. You need to get your facts straight before posting things like this
Unless you're talking about Arlington Heights it will always remain the Chicago Bears virtual reality stadium.
Arlington Heights is the virtual reality stadium, they'll be staying put on the city's lakefront.
@@PredatorKingdom yep in the exact same stadium they're playing in now lol Its not happenning

Yes they are. But need more than 65,000 in the football stadium. 90,000 is better.

Sweet Home Chicago.....
As an IL tax payer, I refuse to pay a cent.
I am a true blue Chicago bears fan I have set in the stadium as a kid I have been on the sidelines as a ball boy we deserve this stadium
100%

Then the private corporation that is the bears can pay for it.
I’m not for this in anyway, shape or form.
Are you familiar with Chicago and Illinois politics? You are obviously not from here!
Looks impressive, but I find it very hard to believe that if true, this would be ready in 2026.

Chiefs 7 straight AFC Championship Game appearances and three chips in the last five seasons- play in a 50 year old stadium.
Yeah, it took long enough, all that money they made they’ll be building one next.
They can't afford a new stadium with all the bribing they have to pay for

4.7 billion dollars for something that will be antiquated in 15 to 20 years !
Football is made to be played outside
If it’s still in the city I’m not interested. They failed to tell you about the 2hr pilgrimage from the stadium to your house 15 miles away…

They haven’t built anything at all yet so hold your horses buddy We Chicagoans know
65,000 seating capacity is TOO small for the Bears, it should be a minimum of 70,000.
All for 8 events a year- not counting playoffs (pause for laughter).
No way they actually build this
I don’t see them really building this but dam that would be a bad stadium any where for any team
You lost me when you said Arlington heights when they cancel that plan to build where they at
Great, build it in Arlington Heights! And pay for it yourself

You gotta be a sucker to want that monstrosity to be built there. Would be great if the club could built it them selves W/O TAXPAYER'S $$$$$$..
They would build this with only one toilet for.10000 fans
Why would they have a stadium with only 65000 seats? It's Chicago not Charlotte
TOO SMALL 65,000 to host SB.

We just did, Ben Johnson is on board, don’t lose the faith brother, bear down 🐻
If u actually did any research the they not taxing us the putting up more then $2B n they want the city to use the hotel/tour tax
