Been doing brisket and steak mainly on my Yoder, but I used to do a lot of pizza (Detroit, New York, and Neopolitan) making my own dough combos and hydration. I'm definitely getting this accessory. That calzone looked great.

My Yoder is the best decision I've made!
If you have a GMG or maybe a Traeger, GMG has a Pizza Oven as well! It fit's a lot of pellet grills, so you can check online if anyone has tried it with yours.

Thanks. I’m assuming so, outside is black and inside is silver. Has good weight and the bottom plate is 1/4”. Works great. 🍻

Should be out in a couple weeks. I just did my first Neapolitan style pizza on the Yoder and it was delicious! 🍻
What is that steel table you're using to unpack the pizza oven?

For the most part it is self cleaning. I would just make sure your pizza slides off the peel properly so you don’t get cheese all over the stone 😀. If you spill anything on the top it will clean up pretty easily. Thanks for watching 🍻
Great video and unboxing! I have been reading that there may be a little ash residue leaking onto the food on some cooks. Not sure if that is attributed to low quality pellets by the user or not. As you use the new pizza oven could you make a comment as to any ash residue on the food? I am toying with the idea of this purchase; but if there is an ash issue I may wait a while.
I’ve used it twice and not see any of that. Bear Mountain has very little ash in general though.
@@RumandCook Yoder's instructions state "Install the oven’s perforated heat distribution plate all the way to the left". In this video, you demonstrate to slide the plate to the right. Could this factor into whether ash falls on the food? In essence, the convection air currents blow the ash up and over the oven rather than thru the oven and over the food?
I can’t read lol. I’m not sure how much of a difference it will make. It’s an inch of movement, but I haven’t tested it since someone corrected me on that. I’ll have to try soon! 🍻
You should try fresh ricotta. Once you do, you'll realize why you hated processed ricotta so much.

Where do you set the adjustable diffuser plate?
At you mean the damper? I leave it at factory. Rarely move it. 🍻

@@RumandCook we used ours for the 1st time tonight. Kirkland branded pizzas. Definitely didn't need maxed out temps for good food. Also has a learning curve.

Haha, no that one is staying, but I did sell my Ooni. Hopefully the economy gets better and the dollar weakens a bit and it becomes more affordable. Crazy world right now! 🍻
I dont know man, I have a yoder and I rather spend the money on a Ooni Pizza oven than this.
I just sold my Ooni Kuru 16. They work great, but much more work to maintain temps for longer cooks unless you want to use lump or gas. 🍻
I have a Ooni and I purchased the Yoder pizza oven. No comparison, the Yoder pizza oven is the BEST

It’s heavy duty, has stainless steel, 10 gauge steel, and made by hand in the US. This and the cost of material being so high right now makes the price high. 🍻
