    I am curious about clutching. More on the side of how clutching engagement can change how a sled handles. Jumpy vs smooth. What is best for what terrain? Awesome videos!

    I 100% agree with Ross that any of fox shocks are a noticeable improvement from stock. Last season I decided to give fox shocks a try on my axys 600. I didn't have the budget for the iqs or qs3 so I got the base model spring shocks, which just have spring preload adjustment. I won't run stock shocks ever again, even the these base model fox shocks was a very noticeable improvement over stock. And now I can see why guys spend the money on shocks my next sled will have qs3s for sure.

      The snow up here in MT is absent also. Hasn't been this bad since I can remember. The last 2 winters were epic, and this year I bought a new sled so it had to be pathetic.

    Do you have a baseline air pressure for my sled? 155 axys pro with fox float 3 evol and 150 pound rider, for tree riding

    • @Rossxr
      @Rossxr  3 года назад

      Contact BBA for them, it depends on the shock!! The valving is different in those so I don’t have proper pressures!

  • @Deadlyshu

    Rad video!!
    I have an ALPHA with the QS3’s. Have to ride 12-20 kms of trail on average. Tried all the settings for the bumps, nothing seems to work.. is it an air pressure thing?? It just rides ruff on the bumps. Thanks man!!

    • @Rossxr
      @Rossxr  3 года назад

      thanks chris! its probably a pressure thing! try less in your main chamber, go down by 10psi once or twice. but if you go down to much the shock will ride too deep in the stroke and make it harsh. this is essentially you running into the EVOL pressure. so then go back up with air. hope that makes sense! Thanks again!

    How does the fox air shocks react to different air temps do you have to change the preusres when the temp change? Some days we are riding in +2c and some days its -20c (35f to -22f)

    • @Rossxr
      @Rossxr  3 года назад +1

      You won’t fee a significant change with temps I set the pressures when they are cold and then ride them all year

    when are people gonna recognize that Fox shocks have been offered on Arctic Cats for a lot of years? Ski Doo and Polaris both do not. just sayin

    • @Rossxr
      @Rossxr  3 года назад +1

      The fox shocks that come stock on cat are very different than what I’m talking about here my friend. Walker Evans makes amazing suspension but when they produce shocks for the OEM they aren’t the best shocks they produce that is the same for fox. You will find fox performance series shocks on cat but not factory. That is where there is a massive difference.
