I could cry. They were so fucking on point with their music, their lyrics, their look, & their energy. To me, Weezer during this era was one of the greatest bands of all time.
I saw them in Buffalo, NY on this same tour. It was a really amazing moment. It was at a smaller club, before they were playing theaters and arenas. It felt like everybody knew every word to the songs, and everybody was singing.
I was at this show! I was 16 at the time. Still one of the best shows I've ever been to. I'm so happy the internet has allowed me to re-experience this whenever I please. Being this was long before the age of smart phones, I never thought someone would have footage of the entire concert. THANK YOU!
I would fucking love an HD release of this someday but from the looks of it it's a fan with a camcorder. Either way I'm grateful this moment in time was captured. The person who filmed this and the person who uploaded this are both fuckin heroes. Thank you.
I'm glad you like it. As a fan of Weezer this is a piece of history, and I'm so grateful that we have this recording. there are more videos in the channel, hope you enjoy them all, cheers!
I drove through a blizzard at 20mph for 5 hours to pick up my best friend and make it to the Albany NY show of this tour! EPIC memories thanks for the upload!
and did you ever think you'd be watching it 16 years later on something called youtube? haha the exact reason I go to every concert I possibly can. Can't wait to see Weezer on Tuesday in Camden!
I too went to that show and almost died on the highway. Also remember getting stuck in Staten Island for like three hours leaving NYC for the DC show. 😱
I had a friend who was born the same day as you who was super into weezer. He killed himself in our junior year of high school. Wierd to bring up but your birthdate being so spot on with his made me think of him
@@michaelgraham9774 im really sorry to hear about that man:-// such a bummer to lose someone so young, always remember those good memories you got of him man
Hey birthday twin! Except I turned 16 on this day and got to see Weezer just a couple of weeks later on the same tour with the tickets I got for my birthday! 🙌)

This is so sick. This set list is awesome and a dream to experience. I’m seeing Weezer this summer hopefully and while there isn’t as much Blue Album and Pinkerton on the set list as I’d like, I’m still going to throw down. I can’t wait mannn
Why?! They look so.... Weezer. Its so hard to believe theyd release the green album (yeah yeah it was alright. but was it as good as it could have been?) when here they look so 90s era weezer (except Mikey. What the hell is he on?) even the new songs sound like they belong here.
Went to the Dallas show of this tour. Was so disappointed with the green album when it came out. Was downloading and burning all of these shows to listen in the car and telling all my friends how badass the new album was going to be and then that crap… I loved Mikey but he was on a lot of coke.
Mikey really was the perfect replacement for Matt. He had the same energy and even nailed the falsetto parts
Would you know if it is true that Robert Sledge of Ben Folds Five fame was once considered for the role of bassist on Weezer?

+Absurdi TV --- Definitely.

@@DetailPlanet Pretty sure I still have sand in my hair from that show.
Absolutely. I saw them at numbers in Houston on September 11 of the same tour. Absolutely life-changing. This was 100% peak Weezer.
I still have that drum stick!

this is the Weezer the whole world should hear.
19:07 I know why they call him Rivers. Look at the sweat dripping down his elbow lol
Hot lights, nerd clothes, and cocaine based on how fast they played those songs.
ITS THE SAME O GIRL FROM SS2K I CANT BELIEVE IM SEEING IT LIVE
They played pinkerton stuff?! I thought rivers hated pinkerton from like 1998-2005??
This was after they broke up temporarily so the Blue album and Pinkerton was the only material they had to work with for live shows
Only in Dreams on this is easily the sharpest hungriest best bands they ever coulda been to SLAY this song.
They killed it on tired of sex
46:50 they just threw a bottle at Rivers lol
This is incredible!
Holy shit I forgot how great this era was!
This is history
THANK YOU!
Not the worst way to spend an hour of your life
YES!!
Awesome. Thank you.
