This was what I needed today. It really put my comparatively tiny problems and worries into perspective. This is true faith. Thank You for this and God bless you!
Thank you for this beautiful testimony! I am at a point myself, after much searching, reading the Bible, praying, where I am convinced about the head covering. Coming from modern evangelical background (not from birth but since I came to Christ) it is totally alien concept to me. It has always been taught in the churches here that it was a cultural issue, which I now doubt. For me, this is going to be incredibly tough as there are no Mennonite or Anabaptist churches in my country and nobody wears a head covering. So I will be the only one. Perhaps there are some isolated people here and there but I have never met anyone. Please pray for me!
You are not alone. I have not been able to locate a Mennonite church either because, in driving distance, one did not answer any of my voicemails about whether services were in person and the other answered but sounded very afraid to tell me they were having services with limited numbers, not welcoming at all. So I'm the only member of my family and only woman at my current conservative baptist church wearing a head covering and holding anabaptist views.
@shieldmaiden for Christ I am also the only woman in my Baptist church who wears a head covering and have Anabaptist doctrinal beliefs. It's lonely having this convictions. Bless you as you follow Jesus.
Each is called to faithful discipleship and allegiance to Jesus. This is best done in the context of a church that supports this. Those who don't have access to a church that supports it in a way that we prefer should still continue to pursue the path of faithfulness within the local church community that God has given to them.
Bless you Christina and thank you for your testimony.
I have been going to an anabaptist church for several weeks now. Your testimony is beautiful to me.
May Christ Who started this good work in you fulfill it till the day of His coming. You are a good ambassador, be blessed.
Wonderful testimony of God's grace. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks, Luke. We were glad to have Christina join us to share her testimony.

I can’t find an anabaptist church near me that practices modesty and head covering.

great testamony, but are you living a life of purity, holiness and without sin?
