  • Join me for a gentle 15 minute Pilates workout created as a Post Covid Recovery exercise programme. This session is also suitable for people with COPD and Asthma as we're working with deep breathing, breath control, stretching out the chest muscles, releasing tension and mobilsing the body. A wonderful, gentle routine for anyone who's been feeling poorly and is ready to start moving. It's also great for relaxation so I would encourage you to try it when you're in need of taking exercise down a notch and want to de-stress.

    Absolutely lovely, the calm setting, low key instruction, even the lovely yellow daffodils and your spring colored purplish gear, create a wonderful restful tone to get us moving again, whether Covid, a tummy bug, or just starting another week off gently!🤗🌻🧡💛💚💙 Thank you for all you do!

    I absolutely loved this...I have covid (3rd official day) and this has helped open my chest back up...I'm used to working out everyday, so it's wonderful to still do something beneficial for my body though I'm not feeling well. Thanks so much for this ❤️

      Dear Eve, so sorry to hear you’re struggling to recover post Covid. With recovery movement is key and especially the deep breathing we do in Pilates. I’d recommend you look at my gentle standing workouts in the Seniors playlist- they will be at a level that will help you move without feeling exhausted. Keep going and be kind to yourself, just a little bit each day 😘

    Can these exercises be done while lying in bed and will it help the back in order to allow for increasing ability to walk without back discomfort or shortness of breath?

    • @ninetiesbish6405
      @ninetiesbish6405 Год назад

      Hey! I have the same problem and I spoke with my physiotherapist about it. She told me it’s better to avoid the movement if it’s clicking. It’s not harmful but it can be annoying. It just depends on your anatomy so some have it and some don’t.
