Red and white daredevils, silver or gold kastmasters, and red and gold buyont spoons all do really well. The browns attack anything with a rainbow pattern. Been fishing that stretch of river for 30 years and not much luck on spinners. Spoons and flies are where it's at. We caught a 26" brown on this same spot of river last year on a silver kastmaster.
@@EatUpBoise oh sweet! Thanks so much!! I’ll pick some up!! Anything good happening from shore once I make it to the lake itself? I won’t have a boat. Will be there about 10 days from now.
Nice to see a spinning rod in action!
What was that lure you were using? A small spoon? We are headed there in 2 weeks.
Was planning on picking up a selection of Panther Martin's and Rooster Tails

Green river lakes area. Just south of dollar lake a couple miles
@@EatUpBoise Awesome, thanks!
Can I ask if this was public or private access?
This was public access right off the main road
@@EatUpBoise what town was this close to? I'm actually traveling to green River WY for work
@@catfishingthebluegrass8282 I’m here as well in rocksprings and I’m trying to learn how to fish over here. I’m from Texas
Spoons are where it's at. Red, silver, and gold, depending on light/sun conditions and water level. We kill it fly fishing streamers as well.
