@Julia Adriana Hello from south France, I'm discovering you today and not on just any track ... Barbara Pravi - Voilà, wow, you're tackling a terrible challenge right away ...You are very brave! Your phrasing, your French accent, your pronunciation (you even manage to roll the "r", to make them guttural like Barbara Pravi does, bravo!) are perfect. Very good performance and superb work of the decorators and lighting designers to try to restore the atmosphere of the stage during the Eurovision Song Contest. If I can just afford to give you some advice, then it will be to urge you to unleash the dragon in you. Go completely out of your reserve when you perform this type of typically French emotional song. You restrain yourself because you want to master all the parameters too much (not to make mistakes in the words, in the pronunciation, etc.). You have to let go completely and feel the emotion invade you ... "It's my mouth, it's my cry!" That's what she says in the song and that's exactly what you must feel when you interpret her in turn ...VOILÀ! Go over Barbara's interpretation in the finale and listen carefully to how she knows how to grit her teeth (or at least, to give the vocal illusion of it) on certain passages of the song, when she expresses her inner rage, her despair, her desire for 'we stop for a moment on her, on what she has to say, to offer, that we pay attention to her and that we finally listen to her. She gives all because she think she has no longer nothing to loose. That's what you have to feel, that you have no longer nothing to loose.
And when this is done, so return on your own performance in this video and see by yourself what makes the difference. Because that's what it miss to me in your performance. But in the state, it's already a very good performance. You don't have to have shame on it. I hope these little tips will really help you progress. :) I subscribed because I think that if you really manage to fit into the character you play, if you really manage to fully invest it and the lyrics when you sing, as French singers know so well to do in this particular type of song, then you'll become a very great singer.
