Hi Glynn, great review, I have this rolling road, it is a very nice piece of engineering, aligning the rollers under the wheels can be a pain at times, maybe some markings on both sides of the base plate would help, thanks for sharing.
Hi Glynn, Nice informative video on the rolling road so if we want to get one we know it will work on both D.C. & D.C.C. the one you have got how old is it and can you still buy them new?. Cheers Robert.
I tried one, but it would not work on 0-6-0 or locos without tender pick ups. There is no electrical connection between the short section of track and the rolling road

Hi Glynn. I must get one of these sometime, as a test track and method of cleaning wheels.
Geoff
Hi Geoff, defiantly makes setting up and servicing easier. Glynn
Hi Glynn. looks like a good purchase and works on both DC & DCC great find. Regards George....
Hi George, certainly makes servicing easier, thanks for watching.
Fantastic job Glynn
Hi Scott, thanks for watching.
Hi Glynn Great to hear you again, how does the rolling road on 060 engine. Colin
Hi Colin, have now tried most locos and they all run fine, Thanks for watching.
Hi Glynn,

Hi Robert, Hornby made 2 rolling roads, this is the later version, think Hornby have re released them. Thanks Glynn
Hi Glynn, looks a good purchase, is cheaper than DCCconcepts one..
Hi Richard, What I was worried about was if it would work on dcc, can't understand why Hornby does not say for dcc on the box. Glynn
Hi Glynn, I purely run steam, so don't know whether suitable for modern era locos, with multiple pickups...
Hi Richard, great for steam, I have no diesels either, think dcc concepts one would be better for the diesel guys!
@@LNER1946 I’ve finally purchased one…….

Hi, I think you are right, Its just easier for me to update the chip on the rolling road, but will try and let you know. All the best. Glynn
How would a long diesel fit eg.class 66 with driving wheels front and back ? ........Peter
Think that you should try dcc concepts one, this would be no good! Glynn
