    I have been inshore fishing for well over 40 years and many of those as a part time fishing guide. This is one of the best introductory and educational lessons I have seen. Well done Salt Strong.

    Great video for those struggling to find them!
    As a local, I just go to the edges of the dropoffs around the Ft Desoto grass flats at mid/high tide and have no problem catching one after another with curly tails, paddle tails or live shrimp, my PB was caught in June 2022 on a select size shrimp just North of east beach, a day where we caught more than we could count.

    Great video! I learn something new every time! What if I live in a area with little to no visible sea grass (ft. Pierce) what where I target for Trout?

    • @Saltstrong
      @Saltstrong  Год назад

      Glad we could help! If there isn't much seagrass in your area, then look for ledges/bottom contours that provide trout with ambush locations to jump out and eat prey as it swims along. Look for moving water as well!

    Thanks. I had forgotten about "Community Spots", there I see Lukes video on Tamiami road and makes it simple to prepare for any given trip, just look at what others have done. Great e-tool.

    Should I be seeing grass and oysters on the map in NC? I see them in FL but as I move the map up the coast, I don’t see any.

      We are working on getting this information added. At this time, the data that is available is not in a format/file type we can use, so we are looking at other options or ways to get it added.

    What about people who don't wade or own boats? How would you fish for trout then. Ty

    • @OneJamesH
      @OneJamesH Год назад +3

      It's definitely harder not to wade or use a boat. Kind of limits you to either beaches or piers. I'm an insider member and I know that they have some pier fishing videos on the platform. In addition, I'm pretty sure they have a pier fishing training course out there as well.. Go check them out. Best money you'll spend on fishing all year.

      Check out www.saltstrong.com/fishing-tips/ and use the search to look for bridge, pier, or land based fishing. We do have some information out there. And as mentioned in one of the other comments, as an Insider, you would have access to the Insider Community and they could offer a lot of great information, as many of our members are also land based.
