I also stay high when doing my edges and for the exact same reason. I’m close to retirement and my shoulder has paid the price after 27 years. It does help being higher up

What kind of primer do you recommend to cover dog urine odor? The former owner had inside dogs, and all that implies. Your videos are excellent!

How far in advance of rolling are you comfortable cutting in? I thought rolling had to be done before the cut in paint dried.

Been devouring your videos in preparation for painting our kitchen cabinets. I know you prefer an HVLP sprayer. However, do you have a video of your process for painting cabinets with paint brush and rollers? Any tips for what to look out for and any different preparation?

I am actually working on filming a video on how to brush and roll. Hopefully will have it up in a few weeks. Best tip I can give is to sand everything smooth in between coats. If you let the texture build up too much after every coat, you're going to have a rough looking paint job when you're done. Also, foam rollers are your friends.

Love your videos. Question, my husband cut his thumb back in January when he went to get a bandaid in the bathroom he flicked his had and splattered blood all over the wall. Behr semigloss white paint. I have cleaned with windex, alcohol, Mr clean magic eraser, peroxide and probablt orher cleaners as well The stain disappears but in 4-5 days it is back. Any suggestions other than sanding, priming and repainting.

I think using the right primer is key. I’d hit it with a spray can of Kilz Original. This is an oil based primer and blocks stains incredibly well.

If you have ceilings registers do you turn off the air conditioning?

Whenever I’m spraying, I shut the air off. Just during spray. This keeps the whole house from getting dusted.
