I have been wanting a drone for a while now. The one I was looking at is over $4,000 so I was hesitant. I just didn't think I would play with it enough to justify that cost. But then I found out about this one for about $1200 which came highly recommended by a good friend. So I decided to finally buy one. It comes with 3 batteries, some extra blades and of course this really nice controller with a built in display. I really didn't want to have to fiddle around with my phone screen so this was exactly what I needed. This thing has tons of great features. I haven't even scratched the surface yet. This is my first couple of flights in my neighborhood high above the trees hoping I don't lose it lol. I am anticipating getting much less views than normal on a video like this but It's so much fun I just wanted to show it off a little bit. This is not a paid endorsement. I’ve been wanting one too and same I didn’t wanna pay thousands for a decent one but also don’t want a cheap one you have to use a phone with. Definitely going to check in for updates to see how good it is before I get one myself! Thanks brother!
Definitely a good choice for a first drone, it takes great video, if I may recomend, I would suggest getting some ND filters, they are not to expensive, I mean if you are looking for "near perfect" video quality :)

I love the DJI Drones, I do highly recommend buying the ND filter kit as it'll make the shots look way more cinematic, maybe not the look you're going for but sick stuff Steve!

Hey Steve, you put out good quality content that is easy to watch and follow. Ho.e audio/ drone/Rosco/ etc outside of the norm videos are just as enjoyable to watch. Keep on keeping on!

Theyre great, and alot of fun! Your doin great for a newbie!! Dji makes great products and warranty/ repairs are very fair priced as well. You'll use it more than you think you would now that you have one lol
I bought the 2 year warranty for $125 it comes with 2 free drones in case I break it beyond repair or it flies away. Not a bad insurance for something like this that can just be gone in a heartbeat haha! thanks
@@meade916 now that you have it, you need to get the speaker/sound system for it. Then upgrade it of course! Our local police dept has and uses dji drones, for trick or treating last year, they had a 2 way speaker on it, and they were playing the "cops" song....bad boys bad boys whatcha gonna do! I was cracking up! Can totally see you upgrading it!
@@shanechristlieb8717 i'm not aware of that upgrade LOL! I wish it was able to record sound more than play sound though. I know the sound of the blades would probably make that an issue.

You have to maintain the line of sight. I have DJI air 2s and switched the controller to the DJI RC. I start to feel kind of weird when im not in the drones line of sight. Even though it's now an older drone I still love it. I live in a rural area foothills of the sierra. When I be flying sometimes the birds act like them want to attack the drone. I put in sport mode and that seems to make them back off. Have anyone's drone ever been attack by a bird?

I have the mini 3 pro which is pretty similar. And I love it! Perfect for shots. And a very good bang for your buck before you jump up to the more expensive drones. Plus it's under 250g with the regular battery as well! I love fixing stuff so i picked up mine broken on ebay. Whats nice is if you ever ran out of warranty the parts are cheap and its easy to repair!
I do like their extended warranty. I have it for my mini 2 invase i lose it or it gets damaged badly.
Were you looking at a mavic or an air drone thats in the couple grand range?

That’s killer man. I’ve wanted a drone for a while now too, but, like you I just couldn’t justify spending the cash for as little as I’d likely use it. I love that it’s got its own screen and doesn’t make you use your phone or an iPad. Beautiful area you live in, enjoy bro 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I still have the MINI2, but was considering this one for the bad ass controller!
I have it's simple brother the mini 2 se, and i love it. Only thing that i don't like is the battery drain even when the battery is not in the drone. Video and photo quality is non comparable to other drones.
