The third release on Fresh Beats record label flies in on the creative wings of Poisoned Dove with his debut EP “Friend Interesting”. FRBR003 is an immersive journey, which was sculpted during the Advanced Music Production Course at the London School of Electronic Music (LSEM) under the guidance of expert tutors.
Poisoned Dove’s EP is a captivating sonic alchemy. It begins with slow-burning, deep bass lines that create the mysterious allure of ‘Friend Interesting’, the first track that also names the EP. Stuttering vocal snippets emerge from the shadows, creating an atmospheric backdrop that's both restless and enchanting, adding a rhythmic complexity and giving each beat a magnetic force.
‘Sleep Walk’ follows up on a rhythmic adventure as detuned synths weave a hypnotic tapestry.
