I recently went from stealth 700 gen2 max to these nova 7x, first day my freinds asked if i changed something in my setup because i sounded way more clearer. So the mic can't be that bad
My stealth gen2max decided it never wants to turn on again about a week ago and was thinking of getting these since it was on sale, how do you like em compared to the stealth max?
@braver7315 i like the nova 7x better. The gen2 max were heavy and felt kinda bulky, the nova 7x are super light and waay more comfortable. The only thing i miss from the gen2 max is the mobile app, i could adjust the eq on the fly, but honestly the nova 7x sound pretty decent. I just customize the eq from the dolby atmos app on xbox, thats an option if you pay for the dolby headphone license
the mic might sound a bit treble heavy and you arent having a really deep voice with it however for gaming thats all you want because my teammates complimented me for having a really clear and easy to understand voice quality. When a mic makes your voice too deep it sounds pretty good but also can sound muddy and way harder to understand ingame
Yes, indeed for $130 for a headset. You would think the microphone would be superb but it isn’t. I could’ve went with a different headset that I know that isn’t that popular but has a better microphone to me.
In my opinion these headphones aren’t very good they are very quiet and almost have to have volume on max just to hear. I have tried different eq settings as well as the dongle to the ps5 and hard wired to controller. Maybe I got a dud
In 60 seconds vidio you can't do much more to talk about this headsets ,I have one's and sounds great, only the side tone have a noise in the back like distortion on max volume if you want hear your voice .
Do you think it’s worth getting for $100, I currently have ten arctic 1 that I’ve been using for 4 years and they’re great but deteriorating looks wise, leather is peeled off but the headset works perfectly fine
The difference is that the head band is black, and the normal version comes with 2 diffent version that only effect aesthetics it’s diabolo 4 and faze, meanwhile it’s just white and black for x and P
It's such a good headset. It's rlly comfortable, and light. The audio is just incredible and you can customise the EQ to your preference on the GG app on PC
I have a PS5, Xbox One, & iMac should I get the Nova 7x rather than Nova 7p to use on all 3? I've read that the 7x work on all platforms where as the 7p work on everything EXCEPT Xbox.
For ps5 i think the newer pulse elite headset is the best option. Although they're planar drivers so bass isnt great but much more clarity and separation between mids and highs.
Hey, stupid questions: does that dongle block the above usb on ps5 and (2) does it have surround? I’m thinking on switching my Logitech g pro x wireless

2.4ghz have a restriction so use wired for a good mic. 5ghz is better but less range

Moving the mic in front of your mouth how you are supposed to and using the setting you can adjust in the software makes them sound really good.

Bro they have a app that allows you to fix the mic sound. You don't need to have that echo you can fix settings
No the microphone is good but it’s not good when you first get it you have to use the Steel series app to tweak it

I actually think they sound pretty good. I just hated how the mic sounded. Make sure your headphones volume is up in the ps5 system setting

The mic for that headset is horrible, especially if you want to hear yourself, which you can’t. As for just strictly sound they sound good

It does block the front usb
It blocks but that’s why they give you a cable and you can plug the dongle in the caple and plug the usb into your computer, now it doesn’t block
7P or the pulse elites, deciding between these two
7P is soo uncomfortable for me. It depends on your headshape, but I would probably go for the pulse elites if I could return it back
Pulse elites will start to hurt your head after a while. 7p is more comfortable with the ski band and the mic is better
