    I'm taking the NCLE basic tomorrow, so watching your videos will hopefully help. Thanks for making them. My employer pays for an online training program, but your ABO review booklet from 2016 was a big help to prepare for that test last year.

    I just wanted to say thank you so very much for your videos, you're awesome! I just passed my NCLE exam and I couldn't have done it without watching your videos as a big part of my studying. They really helped me comprehend things and remember things a lot better than just reading text on a website. I was extremely nervous for the test so I'm very happy! Thanks again!

    RGP material is best for me. Comfortable all day, even when my eyes are dry. Stays clean all day. Only down side is Pine Pollen season. Unbearable!! Never fit RGP lens during pollen season. I have the corneal variety and can see much better with RGP than soft. GREAT VIDEO.. THANKS

    Hi Sam , thank you for these videos. Isit true by reducing the water contant and increasing the thickness will help with redusing problems with dehydration? The more mass there is on a lens the less chance of dehydration.

      Higher water content lenses allow for more gas exchange (oxygen).
      Interestingly, higher water content lenses require a more stable tear film (quantity and quality) to remain comfortable.
      Thanks for the question!

      Guadalupe, don’t forget that Michael Jordan missed over 30k shots as an NBA all-star.
      Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t place in many bodybuilding competitions.

      @@nclecontactlenstraining I was joking & it was referring to the drawing 8min in video 😉😂but I do appreciate your expertise as I’m trying to figure out if I’ll get sceral, hybrid or another special lense fitted today..? I used to be near-sighted (around -3.5 with astigmatism) but now I also have problems seeing close in addition & the soft lenses don’t work anymore 😔 I’ve an appointment today but I seems most optometrists are not experts in speciality lenses so I wanted to see which one you’d suggest for someone with my vision problems since you seem to be very knowledgeable in that area…

    • @nclecontactlenstraining
      @nclecontactlenstraining  3 месяца назад

      @IntegrityMeansAll now I’m going to have to watch the video 🤣
      Scleral lenses are generally your best option for sharp optics regardless of your vision. Sounds like you may have irregular astigmatism and maybe presbyopia creeping up. I would speak with your doctor about the benefit of mono vision - which would be a slight compromise but may be the best solution. Thanks for watching! 😊
