The mystikal “DOUBLE DIMINISHED” chord - the great @herbiehancock showed me this chord in Adelaide in the 1980s - I was there with Vince Jones- my naïveté was my saviour! I actually called Herbie at his hotel and asked him for a lesson! He said “sure, come to my soundcheck, but let’s not make an evening of it”😭😭 - I went , and he played this and many other mind opening chords - which I will add here eventually- it was like a sun bath to stand behind him as he played and be allowed to ask him questions!
This chord has been a revelation- I hope u can dig🙏🏻 #BAM

I studied with Mulgrew Briefly- thanks! I would say- transcribe them and make your own assumptions about what he’s doing, then apply THAT to your own music 👌👌👌
