I hope that all this TVA activity reveals a few things: 1. Old Loki survived Alioth with the same technique he used on Thanos. 2. That all this TVA activity in season 2 and future Marvel projects brings us full circle (Oroborus) to Loki's last statement to Thor before Thanos killed him. "The Sun will shine on us again" due to the knowledge of Old Loki's tricks and running the TVA. 3. Loki and Sylvie are an item officially. 4. We get to see Mobius' blind loyaty rewarded with his own timeline access to his family and him on a jetski on some fucking water man!
Mobius's wife was Snaped, thats why shes gone. She does come back to him in 2023 (a few months later) However, Mobius isn't "Don" Mobius's timeline is gone.. he can't be put back. Thats why he doesnt want to look, because he already knows. subconsciously
What a series this has been. This is the type of story and writing Marvel needs. Lokis character arc through this series and the whole of the MCU has been brilliant
“I want my friends back. I don’t want to be alone…but without them, where do I belong?” This is one of the saddest moments in the show. From Loki formerly being a cold backstabber, to now being able to love & trust people who give him purpose & comfort is so beautiful
I thought the same thing too but remember Victor had created one and knew the dangers of it. OB had a taser only to use it for science (cause and effect) on Loki's "time slipping."
@@orestespena3262 Victor based his work on the TVA handbook, so he might have technically created it earlier timeline wise than OB, it doesn't mean he invented it
As a former bookseller, one nice little detail that many wouldn't even notice - the extra copies of The Sons of Yoren have dots on the bottom. This is known as a 'remainder' mark, meaning these books were sent out to bookstores, returned to the publisher when they didn't sell, and were subsequently sold to a remainder distributor at a steep discount so that they could be sold at a lower price. The books would be marked in a manner like this so that one could tell if a copy was from the first rollout, or from a subsequent reselling. It's another nod to the 're-' theme in the series - books redistributed, jet skis resold, arms repaired, cons rehabilitated, lives in general being repurposed for the TVA.
i think OB's memory was wiped, but since he is a writer, he wrote down and kept journals of events, so after getting his memory wiped he just read his journals and since he is so easily convinced by Loki, i think he was just more willing to accept what was in the journals as facts and moved on as if he had those memories. and over the years he may have even just thought those things he read was his own memories.
Pretty sure the events were in his science fiction book yoren of space or whatever it was called which is why he said one of his characters came to life and is talking to him
my wild theory is OB is a Kang variant, one of those variants that don't look at all like the normal ones, he is just way too smart and quick with Kang's tech
@@WalkerRileyMC Timely invented the tech, we watched that already. Down to the device he used in Ant Man. OB just used advanced tech to make Timely's inventions work
My theory is that Loki, although he controlled his time-slipping, cannot save the TVA. It will implode over and over again. I think the use of his time slipping is that he will recruit the new avengers for the secret wars.
@@adamschulz9719 well, kinda can't wait for next week to see. I'm also feeling that we'll see a new kang variant/ a new mutant or an old avenger in the last episode. My guts are telling me HAHAHA
I think he will end up creating kangs by saving TVA that many times ..I think he is the guy who creates TVA just like kang .. its same like how O.B got inspired by timely and how kang made himself to inspire OB .. to kill all kangs I think loki will recruit avengers .. but it was all a foreshadow that loki will always be the one to create TVA or has the potential to rule time and kang somehow manipulated and took it all for himself .. all kangs are selfish and work for what they want .. I think kang is just a guy who knows how things play out for a certain point of time but ..loki is the real he who remains who can actually write the story ..
the scene where Mobius finds a burnt soldier and his son with a lighter in his hand and sends the second son to take the lighter from the first and promises him a puppy is a reference to how he recruited Loki by promising him a meeting with the time keepers to catch Sylvie, who kills soldiers and steals their devices to delete timelines (Loki has a passion for snakes. Sylvie loves to destroy everything and run, and in the first season there was a scene where she sets soldiers on fire)
@@nekadaracikdegilmi, btw, this can even be attributed to Thor and Loki, since in Thor Ragnarok, Thor tells how Loki set him up as a child, knowing about his love for snakes
Same, I watched on my gaming monitor with my headset on as to keep silent enough to not wake others, but I was SHOOOK. This series is peak marvel content
Like I've been saying, Loki is going to become the God of Stories. The next thing they'll do is make sure to bring it back around on itself, meaning, he'll try and try to change the past, but in doing so he's only perpetuating the future. He's going to inadvertently be the reason there's a Kang in every timeline. Oh, and once he is the one to go out onto the walkway, all of the other branching versions of himself will spaghetti and cease to exist. There can be only one. Except Sylvie, she's go the tempad of HWR.
Im pretty sure kang is gonna be out. They're most likely gonna fire the actor. Maybe theyll just cgi kang or hire someone else. Who knows with marvel. Its all a shit show over there.
I don't know if i'm the only one, but I think that Loki is unaffected by time because, when he pulled himself out of the timeline effectively eliminating his temporal aura. Also that would explain why he doesn't spagettify at the end of this episode and also why he doesn't spagettify in the trailer for episode 5 and 6 when he is walking down the bridge.
Right? I know he might have had low entropy, but I was think why didnt he started aging either when he got pulled from the loom when he didnt have a suit on.
Even WITH the trailer dropping this week, I was still on the edge of my seat for most of the episode waiting to see what happened next. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this excited for the finale to a D+ Show, and I can’t wait to see how they wrap things up next week. Also, Mobius’ Jet Ski moment had me absolutely CACKLING
Yeah. I think Loki is the one thing working for Marvel right now. Tom is brilliant as is the rest of the cast. Definitely feels like they're leaning towards Loki being the ultimate creator which fits in perfectly with his narrative, not to mention his growth.
Now that Loki can control the time slipping, they’ll keep at it. I love how he’s finally found some friends. This Loki is the superior Loki. I cannot wait to see how this plays out.
It's 2:16am PST and I have chronic pain, so I can't sleep...so imagine my surprise when I see your S2E5 breakdown of Loki! Thanks for working so hard on getting your videos out so fast. Also, looooove that MT is on your channel now. My thoughts on the episode: as Coy said in his reaction w/ Reel Rejects-Loki is the God of Stories now! I love how this is playing out. Keep Hiddleston through the soft reboot. He's an amazing actor and the perfect Loki.
I have a muscular disease and am often up odd hours in pain as well. I look forward to these videos. Always a great breakdown of the latest episode and something to help keep my mind off the pain. Hope you’re well. Have a good day

TVA is on a time loop, whereas the rest of the multiverse is on a branching timeline theory. So Loki will take charge of the TVA till Ravonna and Kang comes around.
Not saying much but probaby right. Loki series as a whole is much bettter than the shows they've been putting out with 90% of them being pretty trash, which Marvel is even starting to admit after the South Park Panderverse episode.
The shot of Loki realizing he can control his time slipping is framed in a way where the tubes in the ceiling converges into a crown behind Loki. The tubes look like the timelines in the loom. Great shot
I think the thing that excites me the most about this trailer is seeing Loki using his powers again, as well as how similar he's becoming to Loki from the "Loki: Agent of Asgard" series. If you haven't read it, Loki pretty much becomes a secret agent for Asgard, and uses all his powers to keep the Nine Realms safe. It's awesome, and it definitely gives off Mission: Impossible vibes.
Do you think "He Who Remains" was also able to control time slipping? Because he was able to dodge all the attacks Silvie and Loki attempted in the last episode of the 1st season and travel a few seconds in the future
Can't believe they gave Loki this power but it makes sense since we need at least one person this powerful to stand up against Kang unless they kill him off for the finale which is a possibility ngl.
I absolutely loved Ke Huy Quan's acting and his character as OB. I also loved the real-world dilemma in Mobius's wanting to know if his kids are really in danger or not. The dilemma of nowhere to run was probably the most horrifying because the existential dread of not knowing what comes next when there is no possible space Nd time to exist.
Same dude, it‘s so wholesome to see him on-screen again in different, high-quality productions! I also can‘t help but think that he really has a lot of fun and enjoyment acting again, I think it shows.
Loving the Loki breakdowns so much!! This series is so fantastic. I love every second of it. Also the addition of MT to the team has been such a phenomenal move. He adds so much to the channel. Hope he’s a permanent part of the roster. He’s so damn good! Keep up the amazing work! 🙏🏿🧡
thematically, the "it's about who" line made sense when we got there. but the entire episode I was thinking how much this episode reminded me of Doctor Who, with all the "I can bring you back to exactly this moment" stuff, so I legit LOST my mind when he said that! it's like poetry, this episode... everything about it from the writing to the stage blocking to the cinematography and set design
My theory is that Ouroboros, is the building block of TVA, everything about the TVA is cyclical. His name ‘Ouroboros’ is an ancient symbol of a snake or serpent eating its own tail, variously signifying infinity and the cycle of birth and death. Which points to the cyclical nature of reality, in which every death is a new beginning. So no matter what ever happens, to every timeline, everything will repeat itself but this time Loki writes his own story to fix the TVA madness. In this episode, Loki gives The TVA Guidebook to OB which then we find out later on he has created a TemPad(This is probably the first TemPad, just in this timeline)That’s why the abandoned place OB works at looks like his workplace at the TVA is because that’s literally him from the past, a variant. Why do you think OB hasn’t had his mind reseted when he first came?
I think the TVA was a good place before Kang conquered it. OB created the entire TVA’s technology. He also created miss minutes. He came from 1994 so I think her inspiration was the Dino DNA from Jurassic Park (1993) because he is a science fiction fan and she was created as a chess AI originally. Kang reprogrammed her to be evil
O.B lab in his home timeline has an exact interior design as his TVA counterpart which might imply the organization is actually created in the branch timeline and the lab becomes the very foundation of its establishment. That's why Loki able to timeslip in the TVA despite it is supposed to operate outside time and being suspectible to sphagetiffication from the loom's meltdown just like any other timelines.
Love the idea of loki going around the multiverse gathering avengers for Kang/doom who ever they choose. Brings his story arc full circle as going from the villain to the saviour. Also love tom hiddlestone.
I love how in depth we’ve explored the characters, the lack of campy jokes, the “timey wimey” inception feeling moments. Loki once again carrying the torch
No but the scene of a Sylvie universe becoming spaghetti was TERRIFYING. When it lingered after she left and you’re just looking at the remains of what was life
Finally seeing Mobius on a jet ski was magical!! Also when Mobius holds that wrench and OB just casually comes in like, oh I finished the tempad haha!!! I just noticed OB's office is the same as it is in the TVA so it is the same spot!!! Also if you pay attention circles are everywhere!, the fans, the halls, the mailroom is a huge circle!!
First Victor Spaghettified. Then Sylvies food, Loki’s shot glass, the universe she’s in, the temp pad, and then the universe the group is in once Sylvie arrives. I think the destruction is following Sylvie and somehow she has become a black hole swallowing everything she comes into contact with. It could be why Loki’s time skipping is correlated with “Who,” meaning Sylvie and why her record symbolized a black hole in that scene. It could be Loki removing himself from all space and time created two singularities which are depicted on He Who Remains window
No, the timelines are unraveling from existence either way, and she also spaghettifies, like.... wouldn't it makes sense for her not to turn into spaghetti if she was "the black hole"
Did you notice in the beginning of the episode when they show Loki in front of the loom, the loom is going backwards in time? The timelines, on the right, were actually getting tighter together. I think that TVA protocol 1229, or whatever it was, is the rewinding of time.
If you notice in the Loki holding the TVA guide book scene the reason the he arrives at that point in time is because he was thinking about himself hence creating the bootstrap paradox.
Right at the start the blast doors are no longer present at the entrance to the loom control room. This means that when it was 1st created they didn't think they were needed but were added later presumably by Loki or the agents after they were given a warning "the warnings were true".
One of thee best shows out..craaazy how they got me rooting for Loki hard core ..jumped out my seat clapping when he realized he can control the time slippin👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Loved the episode, though for some reason what bothered me the most was the fact that they didn’t change anyone’s hairstyle, especially Mobius. I dunno, I think it would’ve contributed to them looking more grounded in their original universes rather than just wearing different clothes, so they’ll look even more out-of-place when Loki reunited them
From the Music, to the “Timey-Wimey…” Stuff; this episode really reminded me of a DR. WHO Episode. Paul must be a Time Traveler too, for moving SO FAST & accurate! 💯
11:30 An ATV is Just A DirtBike with 4 Wheels it’s Stands For All terrain Vehicle but I’ve never seen one turn into a Jetski That May be Something Completely Different
My favorite part about this show, both seasons, is the fact that at the end of every episode, I throw up my hands and yell, "WHAT THE $%&@?!" I always want more. This show is SO DAMN GOOD. Do you think you could make a video about the recent rumors of Marvel bringing back the OG Avengers actors? The rumors about Kang being scrapped and replaced with Doctor Doom? The future of the MCU? I personally think bringing back the OG actors would be a very bad idea. There are way more Avengers characters than the Six from phase I.
I think it's fine bringing back the OGs for something like Secret Wars, but keep it as just that. Their time has been done and it's only time to let them have one last shine before new faces can do it. I've not really been for the MCU for a long time, ever since Endgame ended and only followed some Disney+ shows. I'll be there for Secret Wars and Deadpool 3 and a few cherry-picked ones, but I'm not all about everything as I used to be.
I laughed when Owen Wilson said that his space name was “möbius”. The record store scene was pretty spectacular. It was a really exciting episode. Great review recap video.
Paul you're amazing as always. I wanted to mention that the bed sheet rope out Owen Wilson's home might be a Easter egg reference to the film, bottlerocket. Starring Luke and Owen. Dignan played by Owen helps Anthony (Luke) breakout of a voluntary mental hospital LOL Anthony escapes through the hospital window with sheets tied together. It was the Wilson brothers first film directed by Wes Anderson.💥
OK, I'll be that guy. An ATV is really just a general term for a 4-wheeler here in the states. It doesn't refer to the ones that go from land to water, those are not popular at all as they are incredibly expensive.
I watched Bodies on Netflix, which has the whole bootstrap paradox as its central construct, and it's not near as good as Loki. Loki is more like Dark, where it is still uncertain as to who created the timeloop and the TVA until the end. It is hard to fathom that Kang would allow Loki to become so powerful to become his rival. Season 2 has lifted Loki to another level, both the series and the titular character
2:16, It’s interesting to reference the “Time Warp”, because Loki being able to alter the past using time slipping rather than creating branches (through his interactions with Don and the other agent’s variants could have hypothetically still created branches) is far more akin to reality warping, especially since the TVA dimension operates with different rules regarding time as it doesn’t branch there. However, they also appear to have the explosion of the loom appear to travel across time and affect it just like Loki ends up doing, something that it appears only Loki retrying his earlier attempts to prevent the explosion in the first place can stop. It also allows for a more straightforward depiction of the bootstrap paradox, which wouldn’t work in a normal timeline due to them branching and being replaced with duplicate versions when they’re destroyed, making them disconnected from any future that interacts with its past. 4:24-4:38, The multiverse breaching the Loom and being allowed to regenerate technically didn’t create the Kangs (including the Nathaniel Richards variant that became He Who Remains), but spawned new versions of the ones that were destroyed in the previous multiversal war. Whatever version of He Who Remains (or, at least the variant that became him) that was spawned when the multiverse began regenerating, it wouldn’t be the version that Sylvie killed, as all variants no matter how similar are all separate beings with independent experiences from each other (except in the case of Loki time slipping, as he can interact with and actually affect history, including his own using it), this uniqueness also being a key reason why Loki matters, as he is the only version of himself who has experienced what he has or has changed in the way he has. He Who Remains also described his return to his role as “reincarnation” and not “resurrection”, as he knew his specific death would be permanent and that any version of him (wether it be Victor or one of the Kangs) that would be his replacement wouldn’t truly be him. 5:10, My personal theory is that a version of Victor Timely from the previous version of the multiverse was recruited by the other Nathaniel variants as they began exploring the multiverse. As a con artist and unsuccessful inventor from a primitive era, he perhaps wasn’t respected by the other Nathaniels or at least envied their successes and status (his proud but also remorseful demeanor when discussing ending the war suggests he may have simultaneously relished getting to defeat his variants, but felt ashamed at the cost of doing so), but after the war broke out, no one paid him much attention until he discovered Alioth and destroyed the multiverse, sparing only his native reality and installing the Temporal Loom to prevent it from regenerating, before growing mad from his isolation and arranging his death along with his successor. 13:16, With there being many different versions of O.B., the structure of his maintenance chamber at the TVA could have been inspired by any one of them having a similar office space design. O.B. having a variant that was a normal person also seemingly debunks the idea that O.B. is secretly the mastermind behind the TVA and that he was exempt from the memory wipe (although, this variant of him still may not specifically be a version of the O.B. that became a TVA agent). 14:45, The apparent loop of events taking place throughout different versions of destroyed and duplicated realities as per the rules of timeline branching and pruning means its not a time loop in the traditional sense anyway, but that in each version of the multiverse, there is seemingly a war that nearly destroys it completely before it regenerates and is nearly destroyed again, like an organ suffering from a cancer that repeatedly grows back (that cancer being Kang and the multiversal war). Loki being able to directly alter the past means he technically is capable of breaking the loop, but likely would be limited to how much he could change without accidentally undoing his current circumstances and thus removing his current self from existence (just as he had to prune his earlier self to ensure his present self ending up where he was. This would mean he isn’t exactly fated to keep everything the way it is, but has to in order to ensure he can achieve the desired outcome with the limited options available to him. 16:20, This being a variant of O.B. and not O.B. himself means it isn’t exactly the bootstrap paradox, just as the Victor Timely that disintegrates, the one on the timeline that inspired O.B. and the one that presumably became He Who Remains are three independent beings. The question does remain if that book was left by someone for Loki to take it and give it to the O.B. variant or if it was just there by chance due to it being in an office space, as that appears to be Casey’s seat where the book was found. 18:06, Come the end of the episode, it’s implied Loki resetting himself to before the explosion undid the events of him interacting with his allies’ variants, that or his interactions with the created branches and they are still there waiting to either disintegrate as the time traveling explosion catches up to the reality they’re in or to be returned to the moments they were taken too in their native realities. For simplicity sake, it’s likely they’ll just treat Loki interacting with the past as him simply altering reality, which makes sense with how they’re seemingly going to have him redo the prevention of the Temporal Loom meltdown repeatedly, changing the event again and again until he gets the result he needs. 18:48, The implication is that this version of Sylvie used her TemPad to escape the explosion and returned to the McDonalds thinking everyone had simply been reset to their original realties (though these are all technically variants of their TVA counterparts and therefore, they were not exactly reset so much as temporally erased from existence until Loki returned to the Loom room before the explosion), which of course she would dismiss as a positive development while ignoring the possibility of the situation deteriorating, which it does along with her. 19:56, The destroyed universes are what came first, but were simply replaced by duplicates when the multiverse regenerates. Only from the perspective of places like the TVA does this become apparent. This would also mean that He Who Remains may simply just be the one who created the TVA instead of Loki, as different versions of the organization could have in previous eras of the multiverse before getting destroyed and replaced by new versions at the start of the next multiversal war. 21:55, The person and cup were just the first things to disintegrate, it starting off slowly as the Time Loop explosion caught up with this reality (unraveling it like the strands of a vinyl disc). 23:52, This seems somewhat more plausible, as perhaps a Loki from the previous multiversal cycle could have survived to take a similar role to He Who Remains, but even further hidden, which would also make for pretty good references to Agent Of Asgard Loki’s story of meeting himself. 25:42, He’s really just an alien, as his godhood is matter of title that normal mortals gave the Asgardians (including Loki, who’s a Jotun) and Sylvie was shown to disintegrate just as easily as everyone else with the Time Loom explosion caught up with her, meaning Loki’s survival is either due to the radiation being not as high as it was when Timely disintegrated or his durability and longevity make him more resilient to it at this quantity.
I definitely think Loki created the TVA. HE took everyone from their timelines with promises of going back. Loki “stole their lives from them.” Crazy and very full circle! This show is incredible.
Didn’t Loki legit just go back in time to try and re do the incident that caused kang to die? Legit ? Cuz one of the scenes show him talking on a mic to someone in a suit. So tbh I don’t think the people he collected are going to be used. This episode was to just show their real lives.
@@DallasWB yes I think he went back and changed from the moment the time loom exploded but everyone he gathered was from branch timelines, not the sacred one. So I think those are the actual tva members that we get to know. They didn’t want to go back when Loki tried to because they wanted to help fix it. The “gut you like a fish.” And “form and function” about the jet ski were funny nods to the “future”. lol
@@DarriannMariee ok but you’re not understanding if Loki is going back in time to that moment, it’ll be like he never met these other versions of them… therefore if you remember the spaghetti happening to them… it’s because they aren’t there anymore Loki went back in time to try and prevent any of that.
Casey, a former prisoner, explains why he had so many Infinity Stones or other items in his desk drawer. He's been stealing them all the time he's been at the TVA.
This show has been so good, it's great to see Marvel do a show right. I just hope all the crap going on with Disney doesn't put an end to this. I really feel like marvel has a chance to bounce-back. Also, my last week's prediction was semi-right, I called female Loki's coat to NOT be her armor but a long coat to resemble her armor design by her choice of clothing she likes to wear. Which is why her Loki armor has a long coat. It's just part of her fashion choices and what she likes to wear. Also, I loved when Loki was time slipping and mimicking the inflatable guy outside the jetski shop. Literally had me laughing. Even before Family Guy made a joke about those wacky inflatable guys, my friends and I as kids use to love making fun of those. Side note, I live in Massachusetts right above Rhode Island, where family guy takes place. This is why that reference always hits home for me. Great show, mate, always watch your spoiler/breakdowns!
I’ve been saying from the beginning that Loki will go full circle from him getting the Avengers together by attacking Earth to now getting a new version of Avengers together to help him fight Kang. Hopefully that would also mean a reunion of him and Thor 🧡
What I would love to see in or before Secret Wars is Loki arriving on the 616 while the Avengers are dealing with Kang or some other multiversal threat. They are already on the brink of defeat when Loki arrives but they split up anyway to try defeat them too. Only for them to see Loki come and basically save them, without there being some catch. It would be very cool and poetic to see the first villain the Avengers fought return and end up being one of their most important allies. Its even cooler when you remember that even though it will be roughly 14 years for the Avengers since 2012, but at the very most about a year for Loki. I know both seasons make it feel like they happen over just a few days, but I dont think that really lines up with all the different arcs these characters have went through and how strong the relationships they have formed are. Thats just my opinion though
I’m surprised no one’s pointed out the Back to the future reference that happened last episode when OB talks about not being able to make his model to scale or finish painting it like doc does in BTTF
Every episode I’m left thinking it was the best one. This show has just gotten better and better. It’s so well done visually. Really sad it’s so short😔.
This might be a bit of a plot hole but since now Loki can control his time slipping couldn’t it be possible to just time slip back to when Sylvie offed he who remains and make sure she doesn’t? It was that moment that caused lokis time slipping too. He could easily just skip all the steps and set the clock back to 0 for the timeline
The theme established last and this season is that all the branch timelines have people with lives just as real as the sacred timeline, and destroying them, despite for the sake of time stability, is still immoral. With that in mind, I doubt Loki will go back and choose an outcome where they still prune branches.

It’s true. The writer of this show, Michael Waldron, will also be the writer for Avengers: Secret Wars (2027)
Put tom in a executive production roll.
You can see that the taser that OB used on Loki was a nod to the prune sticks used by the TVA meaning he created almost everything
goddamn your right!
I thought the same thing too but remember Victor had created one and knew the dangers of it. OB had a taser only to use it for science (cause and effect) on Loki's "time slipping."
daum!
@@orestespena3262idk they also seem to be implying that victor and OB are somehow connected in an endless loop of teaching each other though
It's another nod to the 're-' theme in the series - books redistributed, jet skis resold, arms repaired, cons rehabilitated, lives in general being repurposed for the TVA.
i think OB's memory was wiped, but since he is a writer, he wrote down and kept journals of events, so after getting his memory wiped he just read his journals and since he is so easily convinced by Loki, i think he was just more willing to accept what was in the journals as facts and moved on as if he had those memories. and over the years he may have even just thought those things he read was his own memories.
yeah OB was oddly on the same page even tho he wasnt supposed to be, glad you saw that too
Pretty sure the events were in his science fiction book yoren of space or whatever it was called which is why he said one of his characters came to life and is talking to him
my wild theory is OB is a Kang variant, one of those variants that don't look at all like the normal ones, he is just way too smart and quick with Kang's tech
@@johnathanwalker8395 He supposedly designed all of Kang's tech to begin with, which explains why he's 'too smart and quick' with it.
I would be ok with this if you end up being correct
Kind of like in "What if" where there are events that simply can never be undone?
I think kang is just a guy who knows how things play out for a certain point of time but ..loki is the real he who remains who can actually write the story ..
the scene where Mobius finds a burnt soldier and his son with a lighter in his hand and sends the second son to take the lighter from the first and promises him a puppy is a reference to how he recruited Loki by promising him a meeting with the time keepers to catch Sylvie, who kills soldiers and steals their devices to delete timelines
(Loki has a passion for snakes.
Sylvie loves to destroy everything and run, and in the first season there was a scene where she sets soldiers on fire)

I thought his sons reference to Thor and Loki.
@@nekadaracikdegilmi, btw, this can even be attributed to Thor and Loki, since in Thor Ragnarok, Thor tells how Loki set him up as a child, knowing about his love for snakes

WOW!
Yo ... I was literally shaking after watching episode 5. The quality of this series is out of this world!
Same, I watched on my gaming monitor with my headset on as to keep silent enough to not wake others, but I was SHOOOK. This series is peak marvel content
It was definitely top notch
You was shaking? Why
Honestly what a great series. Not saying it as a Marvel fan but as a fan of great cinema and TV. We all needed this 👏🏼
Loved when they matched the shot of loki and the inflatable waving their arms in sync
What is the God of Stories? I'm unfamiliar with the title/story
Pretty sure sylvie is the og loki
Nice catch!
Loki said to Sylvie (before he time slipped back to the TVA before the Loom exploded) that he's going to write his own story.
Im pretty sure kang is gonna be out. They're most likely gonna fire the actor. Maybe theyll just cgi kang or hire someone else. Who knows with marvel. Its all a shit show over there.
You saying like I’ve been saying makes me think you’re just piggybacking lol
I don't know if i'm the only one, but I think that Loki is unaffected by time because, when he pulled himself out of the timeline effectively eliminating his temporal aura. Also that would explain why he doesn't spagettify at the end of this episode and also why he doesn't spagettify in the trailer for episode 5 and 6 when he is walking down the bridge.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
What he went through at the end of episode 1 most probably rendered him immune to temporal radiations.
So when everybody disappears Loki is the one who remains.
@@kimjohansen5687🤯🤯
Right? I know he might have had low entropy, but I was think why didnt he started aging either when he got pulled from the loom when he didnt have a suit on.
so this positions him to potentially be the last person/god left while having to watch everyone else spaghettify!
Loki’s character development is one of the greatest things in the MCU. Seeing his transformation is so good!
Wouldnt get too excited. Read about people who have seen the whole season and say it goes nowhere
The record store scene is just brilliant, just about my fave scene in the whole show. And the whole show is just soooo good.
Loki being able to control his timeslipping might make a him a HUGE player in both the kang dynasty and secret wars
When loki says “without them, where do i belong?” My heartbreak broke 💔💔
Yeah. I think Loki is the one thing working for Marvel right now. Tom is brilliant as is the rest of the cast. Definitely feels like they're leaning towards Loki being the ultimate creator which fits in perfectly with his narrative, not to mention his growth.
the first avengers enemy is now saving the franchise ❤
Loki season 2 is so well written! Great cast as well! Loki, OB, Mobius, B15, and Sylvie are all so good!
Going from Secret Invasion to Loki Season 2 is almost enough to give you whiplash.
Now that Loki can control the time slipping, they’ll keep at it. I love how he’s finally found some friends. This Loki is the superior Loki. I cannot wait to see how this plays out.
I love the idea of Loki being the one getting people together. Would be an amazing character building!

My thoughts on the episode: as Coy said in his reaction w/ Reel Rejects-Loki is the God of Stories now! I love how this is playing out. Keep Hiddleston through the soft reboot. He's an amazing actor and the perfect Loki.

TVA is on a time loop, whereas the rest of the multiverse is on a branching timeline theory. So Loki will take charge of the TVA till Ravonna and Kang comes around.
This was the best show marvel has to date
It's fun to watch and well put together
you are right. It creates a great infrastructure for Marvel's future series. It's really fun to watch
Great shot
Loki just hitting different. On a lot of different levels.

It's awesome, and it definitely gives off Mission: Impossible vibes.
the "i want my friends back" scene was heartbreaking, tom hiddleston is an incredible actor
Loki became the god of stories.
How is nobody talking about that.. I guess only comic fans noticed
@@cky7765yeah cause we are not pathetic nerds and dorks with no lives lol wtf is a god of stories hahaha
As always amazing breakdown on Loki. This is one of my favourite Marvel series that since season 1 I felt in love with all the characters and story
I like how Marvel showed both Particle Theory (Infinity War) and String Theory (Loki) when wiping things/people out of existence.
Damn, I haven't even thought about that !
It's about the Doctor.
100%, thought the same thing. Loki is the Doctor recruiting companions -- or gathering his allies as A Good Man Goes to War! :)
From Nepal, you are the only one who brings the breakdown as quick as an omelette. Thank you mate for helping all along.

The computers that OB uses in the TVA have the same design in the branch timeline of where OB comes from, which is in 1994.
Kang didn't conquer it. He made it.
wow i just looked it up and even DIno's southern drawl accent is similar
I love the little side note of Loki’s shot glass disappearing off screen to hint sylvie’s timeline is about to die
Everyone involved with this show deserves all the credit
I love how OB believed Loki when he explained what was going on. He just took his word for it.
Summary: Now Loki is actually a god!
I got goosebumps when the season 1 loki credits song came on after that ending for some reason. That score just feels so impactful to me.
If you notice in the Loki holding the TVA guide book scene the reason the he arrives at that point in time is because he was thinking about himself hence creating the bootstrap paradox.
episode was proper sad ngl, good character development for loki, really love his character atm
Right at the start the blast doors are no longer present at the entrance to the loom control room. This means that when it was 1st created they didn't think they were needed but were added later presumably by Loki or the agents after they were given a warning "the warnings were true".
Man's Burdened with GLORIOUS PURPOSE..!!!

11:15 Mobius was also really good with the child in the first episode, that could have come from him being a dad.
Loki is the only show holding mcu together
Loved the episode, though for some reason what bothered me the most was the fact that they didn’t change anyone’s hairstyle, especially Mobius. I dunno, I think it would’ve contributed to them looking more grounded in their original universes rather than just wearing different clothes, so they’ll look even more out-of-place when Loki reunited them
The only breakdown channel that makes sense.
From the Music, to the “Timey-Wimey…” Stuff; this episode really reminded me of a DR. WHO Episode. Paul must be a Time Traveler too, for moving SO FAST & accurate! 💯
The marvel intro was my favorite so far and I love the framing of shots this episode. So good.

Loki is literally the only good thing about modern MCU
This is probably the best of all the Marvel Series! It’s all been brilliant
“ I can rewrite the story ” damn .. this man is just mesmerizing 💚
What a series it has been💥
2:16, It’s interesting to reference the “Time Warp”, because Loki being able to alter the past using time slipping rather than creating branches (through his interactions with Don and the other agent’s variants could have hypothetically still created branches) is far more akin to reality warping, especially since the TVA dimension operates with different rules regarding time as it doesn’t branch there.
Loki series deserves an oscar
Thanks for the update!
God of stories loki is coming... op version of the character holy shit
people have been saying this isnt popular or good but I've been enjoying the recent shows and movies without the collective internet opinion
I’m surprised no one’s pointed out the Back to the future reference that happened last episode when OB talks about not being able to make his model to scale or finish painting it like doc does in BTTF
the character development of loki is fucking incredible
An all-terrain vehicle (ATV), also known as a light utility vehicle (LUV), a quad bike or quad (if having four wheels),
Every episode I’m left thinking it was the best one. This show has just gotten better and better. It’s so well done visually. Really sad it’s so short😔.
man your the best youtuber your on it bring the full breakdowns asap
Loki is in a Schrodinger’s Paradox.
just so we are clear an ATV is an All terrain vehicle... basically a 4-wheeler. what you described i believe is referred to as a Quadski
Wouldn't that be some kind of a grand father paradox? If she doesn't kill him Loki won't get the power to come back and prevent her from doing it.
@@davidbelley7911very good point!
@@davidbelley7911The TVA itself is a grandfather paradox, so I don't really see that as a problem anymore
He is not really gos Loki yet he has limitations and also maybe you can't time-slip in the void
Woah!! Good for you on finding her and her finding you, it gives all us nerds hope!
