My dad slid the mirrors down to the lowest position so that he could see over the top of them better. Then he just tilted the mirror up to see what was behind us. I drove something like this truck to high school in the ealry 80's .
Nice truck. My Father had a 67 f100. He apparently had one in mind that had a 360 and a 4 speed. He said that it was a farm truck and it was kinda rough shape. Then he found another 67 only it had a 240 and a 3 speed he converted to a floor shift in near showroom condition. I have to say that he had wished maybe he could have gotten the first one. Oh well what's done is done.

Best trucks ever made. I bought a 71 Sport Custom in 77, drove it for 10 years. Great truck, great memories, wish I still had it.

How does the 360fe do at Highway speed?
I mean 70 is the end of the world speed personally I have a 1969 F100 with a 360 and I like to keep it 55 and under

Do these old fords with only 3 speed transmissions perform good on the highway.
Depends the speed, 60-65mph is pretty comfortable
