Saw them in 2014 or so for a free concert at our local fair and they decided to come back again this year so I'll be seeing them again. Great band with endless classics
The blonde is Robin Zander and he is the vocalist. One of the greatest in rock, he's got an amazing voice, but not usually this mellow. They are a true rock band. The guy in the shades is Rick Nielsen, the guitarist, the guy with the long brown hair is Tom Peterson on bass and the last dude is the drummer, Bun E. Carlos. Seeing them is part if their appeal, so please check out a video next time. The official video for The Dream Police is a good choice.
Yup, yo nailed it, 80s vibe, big rock ballad feel, Robin Zanders voice amazing. I love Cheap Trick!! Them and maybe the Replacements are my fave midwest bands. Honorable mention to Smashing Pumpkins! lol
Please please please PLEASE react to Roadrunner by the Modern Lovers. One of the greatest songs ever written and I can’t find a single reaction video about it. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!
Does Ribin Zander have pipes or what? Another singer like that is Getty Lee from Rush. I can rock with them, but I confess this will always be my favorite. Saw Cheap Trick in Bezerkley in the early 80s. Then again first concert after COVID restrictions drop at Reno's Atlantis Casino Showroom😎
I love that song!!! You should try Ain't That A Shame live at Budokan! Its so cool....they have many more...great band most of their songs are very catchy rock songs
Some of the greatest songs were written when the heart was feeling pain. This is one such song. Great job Cheap Trick.
I went to school with them fellas. Listened to them in a garage. Many moons ago.
I’m from Rockford.

Even if its a bit cookie-cutter from the 80s, its his voice that sells it.
Great review
