If I was that girl I wouldn’t stick around to tell anyone anything. I’d have gathered up every but of wealth I coukd find and buggered off to somewhere no one knew me & reinvented myself as a wealthy widow. 😂
It was personal, she was sending a message to the ppl who orchestrated the murder of her family, that she was coming for them, and they were next. It wasn't about money,it was about revenge.
They're saying if they were the Frey girl, that's what they would do. Nothing to do with Arya's motivations, they aren't saying Arya should do reinvent herself as a wealthy widow. 😅@@craighenry1734
The Starks in GoT are meant to be an analogy of us Scots (northern, cold climate, at odds with the south, etc) so what makes this scene a million times better is the line where Aria says something along the lines of "You attacked them after inviting them in to your home", because we Scots have a historical code of honour that says no hostilities may be carried out against an enemy or adversary on your own land unless they have brought an army with them. It's basically the complete opposite of modern trespass laws, if an adversary enters your land without an army they are to be treated as guests and given all the respect you would give your own family. This law leads to dialogue and resolution of problems. This law is the reason that the Campbell clan were hated by fellow Scots for a couple of centuries, the McDonald clan who had been at war with the Campbells for decades welcomed a delegation of Campbells in to their midst under the old laws of no violence against your hosts - at supper the Campbells drew weapons and murdered their hosts. It was a real life 'Red Wedding' in a way and it shook up everything it meant to be Scottish.
That scene is one of several with Arya that gives me chills. Arya increased her body count by about ten-fold in one fell swoop, and most of those men weren’t even named on her list.
For everyone who didn't pay attention. Bran told us what she was doing there in an old watchtower in the third season. The Legend of the Rat Chef. Old Nan had told the Stark children this story at bedside and Arya acted out exactly that story.
It's funny so many are confused by why her voice and body match after she's done the magic face thing. Do they think you can wear someone's face and pass for them? There is obviously magic involved in the entire thing.
In the books, there are no actual faces. It's all manipulation and "magic," which if you think back to when Arya first sees Jaqen change his face, there's barely a second in between. It's because he's not carrying around extra faces. He doesn't need to.
It’s poetic justice that by the end of the series, the three Houses that participated in the Red Wedding (Lannister, Bolton, and Frey) had been virtually or completely wiped out.
I’m surprised by how many reactors don’t understand by this point that when Arya or other disciples of the Faceless Men put on another person’s face, they magically transform into that person, including their speech, size, etc.
The deity that Arya worships gives her a magical ability to mimic the people whose faces she wears. Remember that Melisandre also has magical abilities bestowed upon her by her deity.
Yes but she uses magic. In the books Arya would typically drink a potion so she could form into the borrowed face. The book never shed a light on her mimicking the voice but you could imply it, the show just completely glossed over it
The best part of the GoT TV show is that it brought so many non fantasy fans into the fandom. I always love how they ask questions about magic systems. Obviously the hope is show fans will then read the books and hopefully go down the rabbit hole to read more fantasy and see how huge some worlds can be. I will never bash any fantasy show no matter how bad I think it is because hopefully that will bring in more fans to the books as well.
So "The winter is comming" was not about winter or white walkers but Starks, who de facto won game of thrones?! OMG. From the beginning there was a clue that Starks will rule!
This really shows how much of a problem people have saying Arya Starks name 😂 its AR-YA (Almost sounding as I-YA) not AR-RIA a light melodic single voice vocal in an opera. Not a single person in the show pronounces it AR-RIA 🤷♂️😂
I notice a trend among reactors; some scorching, desperate need to be right. Constant, running monologue, guessing upcoming plot points, running through scenarios as if trying to pass a test. What's wrong with just sitting there-quietly-and letting the story come to you? It's amazing how much you all miss with your constant yap. How many subtle (and large) changes in story you talk over; jokes you miss. So, why the constant need to be five seconds ahead? Has this replaced video games for your sense of accomplishment?
@@toddjones1480 But that's not a reaction. Plot-guessing is not a reaction. Most of it is just questions that would be answered if they'd just be quiet and watch. And *then* react.
Unfortunately, and I wish they could, they can't sit quietly or their videos would be blocked. Since there are only so many "wows" and "whats" that can be said to fill space, we have to deal with the annoying commentary.
@@SRG4782 You're right, of course. I just hope that I can get an actual reaction and not a running commentary on what might or might not happen. I've been watching reactions for years and number of reactors I watch "just because it's them" is zero. We know what's going to happen, so hearing "Maybe this?" "Maybe that?" is just annoying. React to the story, not to the maybe. Happy New Year!
@cainealexander-mccord2805 then maybe reaction content isn't for you pal. Stop watching cuz it looks like you're just looking for something to complain about.
It's amazing to me that Arya started as one of my favorite characters, but by the end I hated her so much that I still can't watch anything with Maisie Williams in it.
Arya was not that great of a character, she damn near ruined the show. I didn't know the hard on for the girl who played Arya was this vein popping in Hollywood.
I would argue that this was the last scene that, arya was a “good” character. Arya did her magic too good that she lost all of her character development after this.

"Leave one wolf alive, and the sheep are never safe." Best. Line. Ever. In GoT.
A guy I was seeing was reading the books before the show came out and said Ayra reminded him of me. One of the biggest compliments ever. ❤
"JON SNOW AVENGED THE RED WEDDING!"
Arya: "Hold my face!"

Practical. I like it.

Arya was an awesome character.
AGREED.She went from child girl to an ultimate assassin, someone you don't want to have issues with.
"(Arya) dropping bars"
"Dropping Freys"
"Dropping phrase(s), plural"
Best reaction lines.
“But how does it work? How??”
Magic, my dude…

Back in the day, we had to wait for a new episode every week.
And we had go wait 1 year for a new season not 2
Damn, she wiped out the entire house of Frey. Nobody is safe in GoT. Unlike the real world, villains get their comeuppance.
She didn't slaughter all the Frey's, she didn't kill the women and children

Arya dropping the mic like 5 times in a row
One Of The Best Scenes In The Whole Series .
The faceless power is rooted in magic!!!
No, I'm planning to rewatch it but the plot is still fresh in my mind.
I love how all of the women in this video figured it out agreed before the men.
Why do you love it
It's all those damned murder documentaries they watch.
One thing about Starks--they're gonna get their lick back. You don't want any smoke with them. Especially Arya.
EVERYBODY wondering about the height and voice.... There're DRAGONS ON THIS SH1T!!!!
Right?! I’m like, sorcery is alright, but her mask can’t be a little bit magical? WTH! 😂
When morons don't understand a story... OMG... we would have to abolish so many stories if these people had their way!

The coldest of cold opens.
How does it work? We’re in a world where sorcery is a thing.
People really have trouble suspending disbelief when it comes to fantasy shows and movies. Its baffling.
There is an Arya compilation video "you should see me in a crown" I'd like to see reactions to that.
Arya is the #1 hero of G.O.T
4:32 😂❤ 🦎 😝
Can tell the reactors who watched it before recording the reaction
Not really. Season 6 ended with Arya killing Walder, and everyone who is a fan knows she is a Facedancer.
I don’t think so. When I watched it I knew exactly what was up straight away
Arya is a-Maisie-ing !
The show may have been going downhill shortly after they passed the source material, but this is definitely one of the highlights.
Badass
5:20 who is this reactor? hahhhahha she is hilarious!
nevermind! just saw the pinned post lol
i hope people will soon realize aria died along time before, after the fight with the other girl. and Aria is my favourite character, but still...
Justice is served. Karma is a biatch!
Where is Major Reacts? What happened to him? Why did he disappear from RUclips and all social networks?
Such a mistake to show Arya kill Walder Frey before this scene. Would have been more a surprise if she was shown killing him after the fact.
How she get there face so clean not cover her own face in there blood
Thats why they have to clean corpses at the house of black and white. It's all part of the training
now do the GOT...gyat demet too many highlights
