Lata sang it deftly and with immense sweetness in Shabab in 1954. This singing takes the song to another level. Waah kyaa baat hai! The translation is an artistic transcreation that has brought out the sentiments and pain of the lyrics beautifully! Heartiest congratulations!
Amazing! This was first sung by The Great Lataa Mangeshkar in 1954 in a movie named, Shabaab. These beautiful lines were later sung by many singers, qawals but from all of them i believe this is the most melodious and soothing one.
After Yani's concerts, i am seeing only Farid Ayaz and Abu Muhammad are giving equal opportunity to fellow junior accompanying participants. Consequently, each and every one of them turning out to be like a diamond and its equally a treat to listen to their disciples. I have not seen anyone else doing this in India, Pakistan or anywhere else. This is evident that they are successfully preserving the heritage and passing their legacy. Only living legends can have such grandeur and big heart. Kudos to The Dream Tream to saving these gems for the generations to come. Salute.
