I haven't watched you for awhile now, and you popped up on my screen this evening... I smiled and had to click on your video, remembering that you were expecting a baby!😊
I had our 2nd miscarriage Jan 2022... and when you announced 5mo ago, I was currently praying for our rainbow baby... and here I am ... in my 5th month of pregnancy! I am very high risk, but trusting in Him! 😊 I feel so blessed and we are so thankful for this gift.
We are having our 3rd precious little girl... Her name is a Herbrew name, Ziva Hope, which means together, 'A Bright Hope'♡♡
Just saw your link for the birth story and it sounds just like my 2nd baby's... except I was effaced and ready when I arrived... she was pretty stuck at 9lbs so I ended laying there for a bit waiting for them to figure out what to do... but I still had her in under 4hrs after my water broke at home... I had to have surgery after because of the extreme tearing... but thankfully, because of the epidural, they didn't have to put me out for it!! Its too bad your epidural went south so badly!
But I had labor for days just like you! She was 39wks 3days though. My 1st baby was born 36wks ♡♡ completely different story... almost lost her multiple times during our hospital stay... but God...
She lost over a lb and yeah, she took lots of work to get her up and going...♡♡ she is
5yrs old and 97 percent tile in height lol so she has grow just fine!♡

WRT storing jars in a way they don't get dust in them, I store my jars with a lid and ring on. That way, when I go to preserve something, the bottles, rings, and lids are all in one place.

Congratulations on your new baby. The next time you have black beans, mill them into flour. I use mixture of bean flour and regular flour for bread. Love your videos.

I'm with you on the cleanout. I do that in the fridge before I go to get groceries. I also grew enough herbs last season (in pots) to last me all year. Much less expensive than store bought and I know what is in the jar and how long I've had it.
I LOVE it when you talk about food / canning math :) it helps so much and makes a difference even with a small family. I have a family of only 3 but the amount of pickles we go through is insane.

Congratulations Bec on your new arrival, I'm guessing the birth process had no complications as your are up and ready to go after a week. Just remember though to take it easy as you will burn out , enjoy that little bundle you have. So that said, a little tip for scooping out cakes ECT into to muffin trays is to use a icecream scooper with the squeezable handle it's easier. Also what was that book you are using for your canning info. Cheers have a great day. Georgie

I was lucky enough after a difficult hospital birth - well… postpartum complications - to stay at a specialist “home from home” maternity hospital where top quality food is cooked fresh on site. It’s NHS too! I didn’t book in for the food but for the reassurance of being surrounded by experienced midwives and nurses as I recovered from a blood transfusion and retained placenta. It was sooooooo good to leave the 24 hour medications and meals (and visiting times!!) to someone else as I rested, recovered and enjoyed my beautiful baby for 7 more days to myself before she was shared with the world forever.
I can totally relate with you being waited on and not having to think having had so little sleep. But don’t you look fabulous now!!! Refreshed and blooming! Those strawberries the secret? 🍓🍓🍓🍓

There is no formula! Truth. Consumption changes over time as your family changes. How good or bad of a year you have also is a big factor in how much you can preserve. Every year is different. I remember my parents canned so many peaches one year, but they were the best and tasted great for more than a few years. Congratulations on the baby!

I haven’t been on this journey very long and I don’t comment much on RUclips videos. However I wanted to say thank you so much. Your wealth of knowledge and experience is extremely valuable and appreciated. I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. I am just starting out homesteading and you seem to always have a video come out that talks about things I need to know that will help. Anyway keep it up! And I will be trying the way you did your black beans 🫘 with changing out the water I soak and cook them in and adding a bay leaf to help with digestion. How ingenious.

Where do we read the birth story. It seems like one minute you are preserving, then a bit later you've had the baby and just continue preserving. Well doner and looking forward to seeing the little one.
You are super mom!!! Even near the end of the pregnancy and with the newborn and clearly being tired, you did so much! Absolutely amazing. I'm actually really jealous 😭. I was finally diagnosed with POTS last fall. It first got bad when I became pregnant with my eldest 7 years ago, so now I see pregnant women and genuinely wonder what it's like to be pregnant without chronic illness. Maybe one day I'll be well enough to have a 4th and find out for myself, but for now I'm struggling not to be envious of the energy of a woman 40 weeks pregnant 🤦🏻♀️
She only got to 35wks before she started going into labor :-)
I have an autoimmune system disease, fibromyalgia, Alpha-Gal syndrome and am 5mo pregnant with my 3rd high risk pregnancy♡ I've had 2 miscarriages so this is our sweet rainbow baby♡♡
I am hypertension for the 3rd time and gestional diabetic for the 3rd time as well... this time having become so at 8wks, it's made pregnancy a much higher risk than the others they told me... I am in my 5th month but so happy to be this far!! I have really bad days, I have fainting issues like I did with my 1st pregnancy, andits scary for my two oldest...
I'm just so thankful for this gift God has given me.
