If I remember correctly his regenerate ability heals 1.6 bars of health (40% of his max). The reason it looked like he was healing to full in other instances is because he only had around 1.6 bars or less lost. Thus taking him to full or near full HP Edit: I just remembered it should be 1.6 not 1.5. I've made the correction with this edit.
