I either win and feel even better about it or lose and that’s what i expected to begin with. But my Cell and Frieza getting demolished by these little shts hit me differently lol

@@Jetterz1999 U need to press B+Y on xbox controller on classic controlls like u block and he takes a special stance if u wanna deflect a Beam u need 2 skill counts. if u go to training it teaches u that in the advanced block/deflect techniques super satisfying but honestly a waste of 2 skill counts in online matches if u can just blink out

It has 2 different animations, one when youre on the ground and one when youre in the air. The beam/ball deflect is the one in the air. You can also use super perception on rush like attacks, your character will vanish and knock the guy away You will also get a ki charge buff for a few seconds after doing it
Honestly as funny as it is to look at I don't think this team is actually bad at all. You only need to know one character so it's basically just a team of 1 dude with like 40 bars. Attrition warfare at it's best.
My control for switching out was L3+R3, I swapped that with emote so now its L3 for switch-out, R3 for transform. Still a little finicky on actually working but more reliable than trying to panic-press both buttons simultaneously.
Not sure if they would have changed it for the new game, but I heard that saibamen in older games actually don't suffer any downsides to charging in water on account of them being a literal plant and I appreciate that attention to detail if it is indeed real.
in BT3, they don't have any penalty. In SZ, they have like a 20% charge nerf instead of 50% like everyone else. Also, Androids used to have no penalty in BT3, but now their passive charge is slower underwater.
He prolly hasn't matched with him again or been online at the same time. I made someone my rival and despite us staying close in rank, we haven't matched since the day we fought eachother a bunch.
Reminds me of the Older DBZ games where they had like different colored Saibamen. Pink and Gray ones were a nightmare to deal with in some of the challenges.

This is the strongest the Saibamen have ever been. In the Budokai series, it was 1 whole saibaman per health bar. In the early tenkaichi series, 1 saibaman had 2 health bars iirc. So them having a full 3 health bars now is rather impressive.
For the switching problem you should change the controls for the transformation panel only to Standard, It uses the D-Pad instead. But due to a bug the HUD will show the right stick whilst the buttons are actually assigned to the face buttons.
for the switching thing, when u try to switch u have to click R3 and then click L3 because if u do L3 first it gives u emotes, but u can also just change the button layout in the settings, i just switched it so L3 is switch and both together is emotes
also doto fun fact saibamen charge same speed or faster in the water! you said at 23:52 that you needed to get out to charge fast but nope. Don't blame you for nto knowing it's fuckin random as hell lmao
Actually they got nerfed, in sparking zero they still charge faster than other characters but is not the same speed when you charge outside of the water. In budokai they had no punishment at all. Maybe they nerfed it because online? Seems a weird choice since they don't really changed too much OG obscure mechanics
My favorite team right now is the androids cause they are high risk high reward characters. They don’t charge ki but you can get it quickly if you’re aggressive. The also have a huge downside and that’s if you super and launch them you give your opponent a huge window of opportunity to power up or do whatever cause you have no ki. I find them fun and challenging especially when you go against characters like super vegito.
MVP 17 is my favorite Android type in the game. Having a Max Power Blast 1 skill makes ki management a lot easier with him than the others. His speed and damage are also very solid!
Few people really talk about how rarity put the works on both goku and piccolo, and the saibaman was as strong as rarity. So at that point in the story the only way rarity could’ve beat Yamaha was a self destructive explosion
I hope Doto changes his controls to make the transformation menu pop up with just L3 instead of L3+R3, that’s the first thing I did when I was looking at the controls after experiencing how hard it was to pop it up. Doto getting the power scalers confused with this one🎉 also with this he was proving the power of the saibamen to beat Yamcha, he (“accidentally”) is also glazing Krillin for being able to take out multiple of them with one attack.

Doto when playing online with classic controls theres bugs where you cant use some of your moves or switch characters for that matter too. This only happens when you have classic controls on and your oppenent has standard controls on. Its an annoying bug ive been waiting for the devs to fix. You can also have classic controls and switch the clash controls to spam a button rather than rotating the thumbstick. Just change speed impact controls only from classic to standard
They need to limit yajirobe's senzu snack too 3 uses, shrink afterimage strike counter by a couple of seconds and then take away the black and make it a full white screen when you get solar flared
