I’d not do a platform and instead just have thick flooring everywhere. You can get 40mm gym mats that will do everything you want in terms of sound reduction etc. If you do want the wood bit you should just cut it out as an insert
We can and a lot of people have it, though prices are inflated because of the exchange rate and import fees. Nothing like how much more we have to pay for Rep equipment though. 😅

Do you really want your lifting platform so close to a wall? Makes changing plates on that side a pain because you can't stand facing that end of the bar.

Just wondering why you can't make the triangle extension larger so that it connects directly to the existing garage door wall to get rid of that internal corner & maximise the floor space? I built a triple garage home gym just before COVID. Best thing I ever did. Always maximise the floor space. If your ever in Bristol come & do a daily cardio with me!?
If I could offer some advice, you should instead choose a rack with function training that is a 3x3 with 1" holes, much more versatile for expansion. Both Rogue and Rep fitness offer those racks. I have a Rep PR5000 with Ares and it is phenomenal

Why dont you just put the nemisis rack on the end of the platform? Then you have more space for the lat pulldown/low row machine and more.
It would take up too much of the platform, want to keep the platform just for lifting ☺️
