You were the reason I started doing CrossFit. Thank you for the inspiration, for your genuineness and for all you've done in bringing Grown Strong to life. Can't wait to see what's next for you! ❤
Lauren, I have been following your journey since you broke into the scene as a teenager. What a journey you have had all the while inspiring so many others at such a young age👏👏👏👏 You have so many more incredible moments waiting for you. All the best and keep vlogging. ❤
What an awesome career you've had with many awesome adventures along the way! Followed you and Rasmus for the past 6 years and honestly such an inspiration for young athletes but also people trying to live life through beautiful adventures along the way❤ all the best for the next chapter
Congratulations on an amazing career, Lauren! I’ve followed you since the beginning. You radiate positivity, working hard, & made it easy to want to follow your journey. I’m 33 years old now, & you’ve inspired me in many ways. I wish you the absolute best in your next chapter!! 👊🏽❤️
Thank you for the years of awesome motivational content. You were apart of the team that inspired me to get into CrossFit, watching the throwback Red team vs Black team. You’re Definitely a legend! 💪
Always an amazing athlete and such inspiration, l enjoyed seeing your growth throughout the years of CrossFit. Congratulations wishing you many blessings moving forward in this next chapter of your life Lauren. God Bless 🙏🏻💕
Lauren you have been an inspiration to me over the years and how many other people have I inspired because of you? It's a butterfly effect. So many times I found motivation from your efforts and successes. Enjoy the next phase in your life whatever that may be or wherever that takes you! Thank you so much!
Thanks for the memories! I’ve been following you since the beginning, and it’s been a pleasure watching you grow as an athlete. Thank you for inspiring us all. Wishing you all the best-God bless and Godspeed!
Lauren, you have always been my favorite crossfitter. Might be the California girl and definite hair envy, but I just have adored your story and watching you shine! Thanks for sharing this look back, I am sure you are crazy proud of yourself! You have been such an inspiration and the grown strong community you’ve built is such an amazing thing. Thanks for shining bright, can’t wait to see and support all that comes next for you and Ras
It’s been a pleasure watching you compete over the years. You were a big inspiration to my fitness journey back then. And I’m very sorry about the loss of your mother. Thanks for everything and I wish you the very best!
You are so inspirational! I loved watching you compete and when you made the Games it was truly special. I think you had a positive impact not only on one person but on dozens of people! ❤
You were always one of my favourite athletes. Your legacy is greater than you think. I wish you to create great new memories with your family. Have fun and train in a way you enjoy more(since you don't have to compete now). Maybe you could make workout videos for non competitive athletes here in youtube.
LAUUREENN, Thank you for always being the kindest, most humble, and inspirational CF athlete! You've done so much with your platform, and no one will ever compare! You were my first crossfit idol, and your departure is a bit saddening, I'm SO HAPPY for you for following your heart! WE LOVE YOU!!
Absolutely terrible news but you have certainty earned and created a legacy for yourself Lauren. You may not have been number 1 or set 100s of records. But, you certainly were a lady who everyone knew and respected. One who many spoke of pure hearted and focus. Its been a pleasure to have been a supporter since your early days through injuries. Lauren you are and inspiration to many who have found direction learning from you and following your focus and desire. I wish you and Rass nothing but the best as you deserve it all in what is to come. Thank you ❤🙏💪
Congrats Lauren on such an amazing and inspiring journey! I have followed your career from the start, as I told you, and was blessed to have you tell your story on my Podcast. I can't wait to see what you do next and continue to support! XO
Congrats for all of your achievements and the amazing woman you are. Sorry for your loss. Great testimonial and i wish you all the success for your future life.
Did you know that if your team won the event in 2022 Pegs & P-Bars, you would have gotten 2nd not first as Annie thought you would get. 1) Mayhem points 1052, 2) Navy Blue 987 3) Invictus 951 4) Reykjavik 937 If your team WON event 4: that means 937-22= 915. Add 915 to placement win points from 10th to first place would have given you 2nd place. Points ranging from 988 to 1015. There was no way in catching Mayhem, you needed an additional 38 points to win. To place third you would have had to be 23rd to 11th giving you a score of 915 plus 36 (23rd placement) would have given you 951 edging out Invictus by 3 points. To win the games your team needed to have higher scores in other events as well. So Annie must see this.
Thank you for your inspiration. I watched you and others when I turned 50 and it was your strength that made me join and fight congestive heart failure. Now 10 years later at age 60, male, husband, father, and now grandfather, I am alive, healthy, strong, and showing others at my age that [because of the younger CrossFit athletes] we too can break the stereotype - too old, aches and pains, weakness. Sure we have to work harder but didn't you work harder than ever! Thank you. You're not retiring. You are now charting a new course for inspiring. God Bless You and Your Future!
Congratulations young lady! We had the pleasure of meeting you back in 2015. You were super sweet and professional! You inspired a ton of young people. God bless you always going forward.
Lmaoooo have you seen other woman in CrossFit, like Dani Speegle….I don’t think anyone EVER said you are “Too Bulky” lol. But everyone needs a victim/trauma story
Just saw how your team threw you under the bus in 2022 event Pegs & P-Bars This should not have happened and it is 100 percent not your fault. People are self interested and fickle, never let them steal your thunder because you are all you have at the end of the day. Looks like you took the 2023 year off possibly because of the trauma of that event. I hope to see you back in full confidence, you have the making of being number 1. It is all in your head.
I am sorry to hear you lost your mum at such an early age. I have a niece who at age 16 lost her mum who was actually murd3r3d. She has no father as well. She relies heavily on her Uncle "me": and Grandmother as we are all that she has left.
Hi Lauren, this is the first comment I have ever made on a youtube video but i feel called to share it. I stumbled upon your IG years ago and admired your beauty and strength as well as the company you built to inspire other women to lift. You have paved a way for women to feel comfortable lifting ( in crossfit and commercial gyms ) and this is your legacy. I am the youngest girl in a family of all men, as well. I resonated with your innate desire to compete and grow strong and follow in the steps of your brothers, as well. I always noticed how the competitive side of crossfit might not align with the nature of feminine energy but applauded you for the beauty, grace, joy and community you brought to the sport and to the world. You are wearing a large cross on your neck - continue to wear this with pride. You are probably shifting energetically and are calling in the next phase of wifehood and potentially motherhood. You are ready. Your children will embody the same strength, encouragement and love your mother showed you. This is truly just the beginning. God has his hand on your back and will protect your family. Please be gentle with yourself as you slip into a new lifestyle and embrace the ever-flowing changes of life. Your identity is the energy you share with the world, not the sport you play. As earth evolves and finds its balance, we need to find a beautiful equilibrium of feminine and masculine energy - it begins within us. You are loved and supported. Be well and continue to shine your light. This is t r u l y just the beginning.
If you announced your retirement like 3+ years ago competitively like you probably should of... you would have gotten way more buzz for this announcement.
You were the reason I started doing CrossFit. Thank you for the inspiration, for your genuineness and for all you've done in bringing Grown Strong to life.

Hi Lauren, this is the first comment I have ever made on a youtube video but i feel called to share it. Didn’t know you started
if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything
Its a hard game - with all the training and so much substance abuse from many - not the healthiest. Cheers.
If you announced your retirement like 3+ years ago competitively like you probably should of... you would have gotten way more buzz for this announcement.
I was made fun of for being very skinny. I’m a guy
❤
