Furious drivers ruthlessly drag climate activists from busy highway

- Furious motorists in Portugal have taken matters into their own hands by rushing out of their cars to physically drag climate activists blocking a busy road.
In footage which has recently gone viral on social media, Members of the Portuguese climate activist group Climáximo blocked a busy road before drivers quickly exited their vehicles and started physically removing the protesters.
It comes as Just Stop Oil activists invaded the stage during a West End performance of Les Miserables on Wednesday night.
Members of the British-based climate activist group went on London's Sondheim Theatre stage during a performance of 'Do You Hear The People Sing?'.
The activists locked themselves to the set which caused the show to end prematurely and the theatre to be evacuated.
Five people were arrested after the event, and the Metropolitan Police appealed to members of the audience to provide additional footage of the incident.
The incidents are part of a series of protests by different climate activist groups in recent months, where they have escalated their efforts to inconvenience the public in order to raise awareness for their cause.

i can tell if you ever were a parent you would be the type to go for no discipline whatsoever and your kid will run wild ever second because they never knew what hard time punishment and discipline is.
Who would have thought that people would get violent when you block their way to their job that they need to get to before they are fired, their mother's funeral, their appointment to get surgery, the hospital to say goodbye to a loved one just before they pass away, to pick up their kids before they are not left stranded, or a billion other reasons people would need to get somewhere before it's too late.

I was returning from fishing with a friend who was driving a Dodge pickup with a 440 engine. He was a driver in demolition derbies and figure eight dirt track racing. We were traveling about 50MPH when four "protestors" walked out in front of us, trying to stop us. But instead of stopping Tony floored it, spun the steering wheel, and came down the road at them sideways. They were very quick.

I speak from experience, when I was younger I wanted to be an officer and when I got a 5 days look in I decided nah man. The police is only allowed to shoot when the attacker already shot. So you are already dead before you can anything.
Public restraint and tolerance for these "protesters" needs to end. The police are clearly not inclined to deal with these people effectively so it will ultimately fall to an angered public to put an end to all this.

I feel for some of those protesting, specifically the elderly woman. She's probably distressed and worried about her younger family members.

I love that almost everything that the protesters are wearing are oil based. The backpacks, the sign, their clothes, their shoes, the shampoo they used that morning, the internet they'll use to post this, the car they used to get there, the warmth in their home that night, the fact that they charge their cameras and phones on the grid. If you want to start a movement, you need support, you need people on your side. This the completely wrong way to go about it.

I’m all for protesting, I think it’s important, but the way they’re going about it, stopping the everyday person just trying to get to work or get their kids, it’s just wasted effort all for the media coverage. Several years ago in Memphis BLM blocked the Interstate 40 bridge connecting Memphis to Arkansas. It took the police four and a half hours to talk them into standing down. That was around 2016. Not long after Tennessee passed a law stating that a driver who "inadvertently" hits someone blocking a road cannot be charged. No one has tried to block traffic in Tennessee since.
