Imagine being a person who was depressed, lonely, and felt unloved. A person who could express themselves with their art and personal work, That was who Vincent Van Gogh was. We keep these paintings because it tells the story about artists like him. And to see a bunch of punks do something so out of line to his work is heartbreaking.

Vincent Van Gogh wasn't famous before he died. He was struggling with poverty trying to sell his paintings, the man cut his own ear off when he was mentally ill and he died before even knowing that people started to appreciate his artworks. His artworks hold a meaning of life and struggles. What do his paintings have to do with fossil fuels or even the environment? They weren't even made out of Fossil Fuels.
It is one of the most popular artworks ever made, they clearly wanted their message to be seen and heard.
Are u guyz so dumb that u cant even figure out so simple logic like this oh my gawd
The simple sad fact that his works cost money to begin with. If we were to just have them out on display and not cost anything, then activists wouldn't target them. That's the whole purpose of them attacking the painting, though I'm not sure what else they could do to bring awareness.

@lagrafinucio6714 I understand their reason for doing it but it doesnt mean they can go vandalize art pieces at a museum. Go volunteer to clean up trash on the street or something.
@@doomplague5758 Because cleaning up trash on the street is going to encourage people to change what they're doing and act in a way that's considerate of the planet? No, that's not activism. Do you understand what activism is? Martin Luther King used to block bridges so people couldn't drive through. Thanks for the info, man... At least the painting is safe, I guess.
It's not just some flower painting, its art, its history. And when you destroy preserved pieces, you destroy people's achievements.
best part is they didn’t destroy it there is always a layer of plastic on each painting
They protesting at the wrong place.
“Worth more than food”
Meanwhile them: *throwing soup over the painting*
Try to think what Van Gogh would think after watching this clip
First of all, love the fact that there is clearly a glass protector over the art so you can literally just wipe that off with a cloth and soap. Secondly, “they can’t even afford to heat a can of soup”, says the person wasting an entire can of soup. Thirdly, I’m sorry but anyone who wishes to damage any of Vincent Van Gogh’s art deserves to go to hell, that man died believing he was a failure, don’t let pure stupidity make a failure out of yourself.
dude theres more things that people can do then just sit back, you no life imbecile
This is beyond stupid - delusional!
🎉💯🎉
@DingusMusicProductions what’s funny?
They should install a pink hair dye sprayer to protect painting, oops too late, how About next time, a permanently Glued red nose on their faces, to Match there, I can only imagine horrific tattoo art
Them: “Food is worth a lot in life”
Also them: Wastes two cans of soup on a painting.
While having dyed hair, iPhones and custom made shirts with petrochemical-derived ink
If they glue themselves, then should just leave them there for 5 days , without food , water and toilet.
As an artist, I would've gone ballistic if i saw someone throw objects at a painting
"I'm going to destroy something you love because, obviously, that means you will be more inclined to listen to me and not hate me."
Why did she say families can’t afford the soup but she’s throwing it at paintings and wasting it
While she had expensive clothes, a huge jacket and dyed hair, i have to say.
Shirts titled “just stop oil” is ironic considering the amount of oil used to make their clothes 😂
"They cant even afford to heat a tin of this soup"
*proceeds to waste food like that*
"Oh, okay"
- Van Gogh
😂
"families can't afford to heat a tin of soup"
"We can't afford to keep using oil and gas"
Ma'am do you know how soup gets heated?
😂🤣 Idk i mean u can start a fire with Just a stick and flint. ya dont rly neeed gas but it does help a lot
@@Ms.Guardian bro do you think people wanna go outside and make a fire with a stick.
@@nonbasicz yes, its called touching grass :)
She probably farts on it and lights a match
Electricity
It’s always the woman with the purple or pink hair. How do they think the tins of soup got into the shop?? 😂
funny thing about these kinda people and their morals, if the camera battery was dead their "protest" would be delayed until it was fully charged.
This message really touched on me, she is right by far. After watching this I feel truly concerned. Noone should ever wastes a can of soup like that.
Their message is decent at best but their actions are rotten
Had me in the first half 😂
@@KateCat420 same😂
Got me😅
Yeah, man! Tomato is one of my favorite soups!
Definition of “I grew up privileged and I want to insert myself in everything, even if I blatantly become part of the problem I have a problem with!”
I love how he says Security
But I could have told you Vincent, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you.
I was in the Scots I cooked a tin of soup 🍲 with candale underneath and also cooked a tin soup with a zippo lighter underneath and also on a wood fire. I wouldn't of known that their was only one way to cook a tin of soup and that was on a stove 🤪
Ah, indeed.
@@davis70140 the hell?
Notice how no one is listening
I cant rlly see them in the frame tho

What does Van Gogh have to do with the use of fossil fuels? Why don't they go find a pipeline or an oil rig to deal with?
She argues about people not being able to afford gas then goes on about how gas is bad.
These two validate Albert Einstein's thesis: "The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has limits."
